- Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi is a premiere institute of classical music and dance in India. It was founded in 1939 by Pt Vinaya Chandra Maudgalya, and is currently headed by Pt Madhup Mudgal.
‘Tarpan - An offering’ is a film that was made on the occasion of the Vidyalaya’s 75th anniversary in 2014. It talks about the journey of the Vidyalaya over the course of 75 years.

I'm 55 now and I still feel that one year that I lived in Gandharva Mahavidyalya was the best year of my life. Surrounded by music all the time. Went to so many concerts and practiced at any time I wanted to. It was the greatest family consisting of bhai ji and his family and all the students.

I'm Raj main hamesha se Gandharva Mahavidyalaya ke bahar khada hokar sochta tha ki kab wo shubh din aaega Mera Gandharva Mahavidyalaya mein admission hoga. FIR finally ek din aaya aur mujhe audition bare mein Jaise pata Laga main audition ke liye Gaya aur Jaise hi main entry curry main aapko bata nahin sakta hun mere hathon mein vibration kya filo tha aisa lag raha tha ki main Bhagwan ke Ghar a Gaya hun sach mein Gandharva Mahavidyalaya ek Swarg hai maine jo vahan per jakar mahsus kiya hai na main aapko lafzon mein Bata nahin sakta hun. kisi ne sach hi kaha hai jab Parmatma Ko sacche Dil se chaho to vah jarur milte main bahut Subha ge sali hun mujhe Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Parmatma ke ghar jaane ka afsar prapt hua...

@@nishantkumar6924 addmission forms are distributed on first come first serve basis and then they are called accordingly for auditions. Those who clear the auditions are selected and admitted. You can sing any light classical song or bhajan. (This is the process for first year.)
For any other year you have to contact the vidyalaya and you'll have to give a small test or vocal audition. For example if you want admission in 4th year you'll have to have the knowledge upto that level. If the teachers find you worthy enough they'll take you in.

Pehle apko vidhyalay reception pe jake baat krni hogi ki apko kis chiz me admission lena
Hindustani classical , dance , instrument , karnatak music , odissi dance
Uske bad vo apko ek choti si book type denge usme vo apko audition date batayenge ki apko is din ana hai apne test ke liye
Pehle vo apka test lenge or agar une acha lgta hai to vo apka admission successful kr dete hai
Apne audition test me ap agar meri mano to koi Bollywood type kuch mat gana
Classical music sikhna hai to kuch classical type hi gana
Usse ek acha impact padega
