I absolutely love all the outstanding projects you obtained from ONE paper pack. I, too, am a paper hoarder, but I am going to start today on using them up. I used to belong To Paper Card Clubs when I lived in NY an plus I had a lot of bargain stores where I could shop for craft items Now that I’m 69 yrs Young like my granddaugthers always say. And it’s getting a little hard with my severe carpal tunnel It has made it hard for me so I’ve slowed down a lot but I do enjoy what I’m doing and I I just had surgery on one of my hands. Thanks for this video. I'm always looking for new ideas to use up my decorative papers and this gave me a lot of new ideas. I didn't know about looking up card sketches on Pinterest for layout ideas so thanks that tip. The last card idea where you used up a lot of small pieces reminded me of the idea I saw several years ago where people would cut up all their old printed photos (duplicates, ones out of focus, etc) into various shapes and sizes to make cards and backgrounds.
Welcome to paper hoarders anonymous, the place where we are trying to finally use what we have! LOL! I am a paper hoarder as well. It wasn't until I was out of room in my new and bigger craft room that I realized I really needed to start using it up! And, I have to tell you, its been a lot of fun using it instead of just storing it!

Welcome! Yes, card sketches are a great way to get started in cardmaking. I've been making cards for a long time and still love them! I suggest starting with the sketches that give you the measurements for each piece of the card. That will help you get a feel for size and placement. Here is a link to my Pinterest board for card sketches. There are a ton of sketches and many with the measurements listed on the sketch. If you're not on Pinterest, I would search for Operation Write Home card sketches on the internet. They always have the measurements and the layouts range from simple to detailed.
