Dear Ford Europe, PLEASE tell Ford United States they MUST bring the all-new Focus Hatchback MANUAL TRANSMISSION to the U.S. car market (not the Active wannabe crossover junk). Don’t let us Americans miss out on all the fun!!!

In Canada and United States, the Ford Focus Saloon is replaced by the Fusion and Taurus. However, markets, for example, Brazil and Chile, which they have the Focus Saloon, Ford has a plan to continue the production of this "three-box saloon" design ?

I was wondering about engines. And couldn't have an answer for it please answer if you know. Will there be an automatic 1.5 ecoboost 182ps version? Also how about the st version?
Umur Umurilik Gümüşbaş there will be a 1.5L ecoboost, you can have it with a 6 speed manual or 8 speed automatic

Umur Umurilik Gümüşbaş I think so. None of that faulty dual clutch transmission. I think they learned their lesson.

Former ST, current RS owner here. I LOVE the new look! I think that ST may be the best looking Focus yet. But I have a question. The ST would be ideal for customers like Sebastian? That's a bit messed up, guys. Unless of course you plan on offering the ST with an automatic for the first time. (Though frankly I hope you don't)
That's an ST-Line, which is basically aesthetically sport-appealing, with some minor sport modifications, such sport tuned suspension, exterior and interior touch-ups and maybe some sport tuned calibration. While the real ST is another engine, tranny, suspension...Not the same vehicle
Clearly "ST Line" is something they never really referenced here in the states. The ST1, ST2, and ST3 were simply called Focus STs and all came with manual transmissions only.
It's a new trim level ford started selling it in EU,I think with last year fiesta and Ecosport, like vignale trim, as they don't have Lincoln. In EU sport-appealing vehicles seems to sell well...I don't think we will ever see in North America ST-Line variants, ford is not even investing in cars for US anymore. But maybe there will be some SES suvs, sport appearance packs like F150s lariat packs

I own a 2008 Ford Focus 2 door coupe SE, what if i want just a basic model, i don't have a cellphone, i don't need anything fancy, just a simple car that gets me where i want to go, my 2008 does all of that with no extras, no fluff. I even have crank down windows! I love my 2008 and will try to hold onto it for as long as i can!

RS typically doesn't come out until the generation is about to end. It's meant as the last hurrah before the new model is introduced.
it's common sense. They have done it with the mk2 and the mk3. They start out with the standard models, then the ST, then the RS for the last couple years of the generation. Which will not be for awhile.

All these "hot" hatches are starting to look alike, it's getting ridiculous. AMG 45, A200, i30, Cerato, Ka, and now Focus

The focus I own a 2012 is now 10 years old and is still like new after 100k. The Kia's and Nissan cars rust at 5 years old so Ford is on top of this.

I'm a Ford man myself, but this thing looks like a Kia or Hyundai. The Focus should've moved to the Mondeo's directions in terms of exterior design.
Sadly I’m not impressed with its looks, everything else is great just looks meh, older models are way nicer
But still better than a VW Golf or Kia Sperm

I like Ford but this design is not pretty the front looks like a stoned Pokemon, the grill has way to many conflicting shapes and not enough aggression. The side looks like a weird mash up between a Mazda 3 and the old BMW 1 series and the bonnet looks too high. I keep looking at the car to find a nice angle but I can't find one. Disappointed with this, great that it has so much tech and all but it all kind of falls flat if the car is boring to look at. Ford you were on to something with your Kinetic styling language please go back to it and make cars pleasing to look at.

Omg its soooo ugly - i liked the old one but this is a very ugly design
As much as the Focus is a decent car, it is ugly as sin, you had with the MK I Focus all those years ago, a stunning car, sharp, well made and well designed, buth inside and out, but now, year after year and generation after generation, the cars get more lumpy, blobby and not pretty, I have seen far cheaper brands have vehicles that look better, The Leon, Octavia, A3, A-Class etc, are all far superior looking cars, you have destroyed the range, and we only now have hatchbacks and SUV's, I have an SUV, I have a Mustang, but I need a Saloon, you lost my business once you got rid of the Mondeo, we upgraded to an A6, albeit an A4 would have been a better size, but we wanted that car, most other brands still offer a saloon, but not you, but hey, when the market changes again, like it will, you will be left hanging again, or maybe you will do what you have done with the mach-e SUV, and used all VW stuff, so maybe the next saloon will be a passatt with a Ford Badge...
those are the ugliest rims I've ever seen, they look like flower petals. Ya that's what performance enthusiasts are looking for.

Wow, ugly as ****, the last gen looks way fresher than this boring effort, same goes for Fiesta. Hate to be so harsh but not feeling these new designs. Im sure the tech is fantastic but the design.. oh man
