I love your videos however i have to agree with the lady not wanting to be recorded. I am a very private person, i dnt even have any of the other social medias so it annoys me greatly to go out in a public space and have people record me or my family even if its a quick glance over. While you may not try and get other people in your videos, other vloggers dont mind and even have other peoples children in their videos without the parents having a clue. There just needs to be a balance. Record in public but dnt have anyone else who did not agree to be in the video apart of the video.
Completely understand that, but she overdid it! She already told us she didn't want to be on camera, there was no need to hammer it in when we where somewhere in a different part of the store minding our business. Also, we know when we are being discriminated against at that was fully our experience at this establishment and that part had nothing to do with her not wanting to be filmed.

Here in California Ashley’s furniture is NO GOOD! Over priced and bad quality had a bed the bed frame broke two weeks later and they wouldn’t fix it w out a charge fee.
They have warranty’s right?
@@DonichaDaniels girl I tried mentioning that they said my warranty didn’t cover it. They had movers come look at it and take pictures. They still said no I had to pay 250 for a replacing part because I mean I had just bought a 3,000 set cash my mistake 🥴 just make sure you read the warranty don’t make my mistake just purchased because I was so excited 😞
Hello Donisha, Cliff and Nana...love your videos and you guys keep my attention and laugh at times too. As for this video just wanted to say that you can buy cream or white furniture with kids. Just Scotchguard them. For easy cleaning. I had three small kids with white furniture...just have to teach them to be careful. Watching you and Nana I'm sure that will happen. You should be fine. It wasn't about that. They understood the particular lady did not want to be recorded. The problem was her hounding Donicha about it. Donicha wasn't trying to include her in the video at all.
But my thing is WHO ARE these ppl to record. No one is going out to just record random ppl (especially vlog channels) Like how the heck will they benefit us
@lifewithambz they are people who have the freedom to record. The store records customers on their surveillance camera. Besides, the store didn't have a problem with Donicha recording. Only the female employee did, and Cliff and Donicha respected her wishes. The problem came in when the female employee started following them around, saying she didn't want to be recorded. Then the employee went to talk to the manager, who said there wasn't a problem with them recording.
They were showing the different items Ashley's had on sale, so if anyone was interested, they could stop by and pick them up or order them from the website. This wasn't random; Cliff and Donicha are moving and picking out new furniture. They had a purpose for coming to this store.

Donicha listen sis i love when you do these videoes lately they be so relaxing and just watching you and listening to you tell us about the didfferent products and their texture and prices then you tell us what you like omg so very fun iy tells alot about your personality. I am so glad I came and watch the video tonight because you are showing the rugs in in Ashley's Furniture Store I never even thought about going to Ashley's Furniture store and get a rug and I was just saying I need a new rug for my living room but I was going to go back to Home Depot's and get one there's is a little pricey but they're nice. But I think I'll go to Ashley's Furniture Store and look at theirs first I didn't even think about them and I'll be in there quite a bit thanks for sharing I enjoyed this video so much just saying.

Just curious, 19:38 could they have been looking at you out of curiosity since you all were recording? Like could there be another reason, outside of race? Maybe they never had ppl in the store recording.
Discrimination is REAL, I get it and have had it done. I ( humans) Also have Mis-red a situation so I’m simply asking cuz things are not often as they seem. But Holy Spirit also gives discernment so if you were feeling it was race, no one can take that away from you.
Like I initially said, we felt discriminated against! And won't be back, end of story.

Look. First off. When you walk into a place of business you don't come in recording footage. You ask them if it's okay before turning on your camera. And as far as the lady that didn't want to be recorded. It's her prerogative whether or not she wants to be recorded.

I live in Detroit ashley Furniture is like that here, too. The same way years ago, how Macy's tries to make you feel. Even if you are not recording, this is how they make you feel . As if you don't belong there. I don't shop there.
Also, don't spend your money with them and contact corporate...if they treated you guys like this they will do it to others.
I hate that Ashely store never again I will not shop there! I have Bad vibes there when I went in there wit me and my hubby 2 look for my son and daughter bedsets.. I feel u gurl the greeting was bad too they all kept staring and looking and down and they have bad customer services too.

I think stores should have a sign posted outside if they prefer you not to record, that helps take the whatever off the employee.
It’s also safe for the customer to ask the store first if they don’t mind certain things to be recorded.
I think the lady had a right to say something but it’s how you say it and her non-verbals probably spoke louder than her words, I think that is the point Donisha is making. Say something but say it in a way you should as an employee of a business. Her verbals and non-verbals may have been negative.
Also, I think we can all see now what Donisha meant about Cliff being all over the place and like a kid in a store. 🤣🤣

ashley furniture isn’t known for great furniture and the customer service isn’t great at all i had 2 neighbors cancel their orders the service was awful i won’t go there
They should be more compassionate when you coming to this store because I think most of them are I think they work on commission so they should be more compassionate and more nicer to the customers especially if they working on commission because if you'd be snotty to me when I go into a furniture store I'm definitely not going to have you waiting on me I will definitely ask for someone else just saying
