@@sidsdiary8 I get that but I think people need to be mindful that it's not personal, her definition of what is a good build is relative to her own abilities. It's the same as being offended if someone says they don't like their own drawing when their drawing is better than something you could have done.
To me it seems more like an introvert/anxiety/nervousness thing. When she says she dislikes her builds I think she genuinely means it. She shouldn't have to pretend to be proud of everything she makes just because other people compare themselves to her.

It's really grating. At first it was kind of a funny self-deprecating thing and it could still be like that in moderation but honestly she just needs to stop. And then because she's insulting herself the whole time instead of being confident she goes and makes it worse and stops trying on purpose.

When I used to build my house back in 2014 (I wasnt old enough for the gallery) I would interlock the rooms to make a square (no bumpouts) and I would put the cupcake factory in the kitchen
Now that we have ladders, you should make a "jenga" build. Like a tower of containers.

@@CrazyCakes_Gamez the update doesn't work on legacy edition, my flatmate had some trouble with that as well (but she managed to change it to the normal one, it's because her old computer had windows vista)

I was only 3 minutes in and I feel like you had really cut back on saying how bad it is and apologizing, seemed like you were trying. I know you got kinda slammed in the comments last time about that. But then at 5min. you had a set-back..then the end of the video you had a full on relapse..lol. When I was a kid, I used to go to the downtown neighborhood in The Sims 1 and build the exact same heart shaped building in every neighborhood.
The left half downstairs was a fancy restaurant and the right half was a luxury couples area/rec area, complete with fireplaces and bear skin rugs. Upstairs, the left side was a gift shop featuring a multitude of retail items, ranging from flowers and jewelry to magazines. The right half was comprised of two enormous restrooms with as many stalls as I could fit each and a well-decorated counter area with huge mirrors.
Occasionally, I'd build a patio out behind the restaurant for outdoor seating, and sometimes I'd cut off the point of the heart upstairs and build a deck, making sure to use those Greco-Roman pillars at the end to keep the roof over it.
I don't know why I was so fascinated with the idea of that building, but I built it EVERY. TIME. I used the Cherrytronic wall paper and the Red Carpet floor, found in the catalog immediately after the concrete floor that matched the default sidewalk tile. Sometimes I think I also used a dark wood, floor for parts of it, and I definitely used that giant McLeod's chandelier everywhere. What a time to be alive. Might go home and build it again, just for old times' sake.

I once made a heart-shaped house in the Sims 2. It was all decorated on the inside with pink, lavendar, lace, hearts etc. It was the home of the local matchmaker, who was an elegant drag queen. And her fluffy pink cat. :)
Was it liveable? Yes, but simple. Didn't have room to do much, but I did try to make it lacy and pretty.

New 100 baby idea: shoe house. No budget, spend as much as you like, but it must be shaped like a giant shoe. A basement may be built for collectibles, but no usable objects may be stored in it. (Allowing for the Fish Basement to remain.) Your sims must live in this house, items may be added outdoors as can greenhouses or gazebos, but no "true" outbuildings, until such time as baby #100 has been born on the lot or brought home from hospital.
