If the president is not immune, how can the president pardon people, to be pardoned, the president would need to be immune so they would not be jailed for letting someone out of prison at a future date, relative action and causation needs to be applied to the person pardoning the prisoner.

Don't ever plan on practicing law if that is your summation. Presidents have never needed immunity and do not need it now, except for one who seeks it because he knows he is guilty of crimes. Trump can only fool the people who are more stupid than he is.
I will explain law to you since you clearly do not know Constitutional law. A presidents authority to Pardon is an executive privilege or power granted to a sitting President by the Constitution. This does not apply to a Criminal president who the forefathers created Congressional impeachment for to remove them if they committed a crime. They can't pardon anyone during an impeachment, and obviously after if convicted and removed from office.
Trump has got rid of that obstacle by using his influence on wicked people in Congress who care more about retaining their seat in congress and their power, than doing what is right. He has hijacked one branch of Government meant to keep him in check because most Republicans have any morals.
The Constitution protects a president not under impeachment or not convicted of a crime and removed from office, from any prosecution for granting pardons to anyone they want to. so your premise of them possibly being jailed in the future is a moot point.

Amesha Cross, as a described Democratic strategist, seems to say it's no problem that Colorado banned Trump from the ballot because Colorado was never going to give its electoral votes to Trump anyway.
