- This is a quick over view of our temporary raid farm on the Birch Church Server which uses no redstone, doesnt have a trident killer and is completely manually operated,.

thank you, theres not alot to explain its really very simple because i eliminated all the moving parts lol, im a little bit of a redstone dummy so when i can i just skip it
the way you deal with the iunvisible raid bug, very nice, usefull, we will use this approach too 👍
im glad that i could help you out, i did that because people were causing raids all over the server accidentally at the trading halls and iron farms, it was really getting out of hand how many raids we had to hand fight, Mojang really needs to fix that
Very nice!! Also the Nether Speed Bump reminder to break the Bed is brilliant. You could do this at another Outpost though, right, one with 2 or 3 Spawn Spots?
And you have said repeatedly that you should change out the Dispenser for a Dropper. Remember that Water Bottles do not stack and Empty Bottles do.
And that you do not have a Totem in your hand atm.
I did have a totem but the ravager broke it. The speed bump and village became a necessity because people were causing raids accidentally all over the server due to the invisible bad omen bug. It’s not a great farm but it does make totems which is what we needed at the time because we have a good source of emeralds from trading

Very nice and somewhat easy farm. Did you have to stretch the village? Wouldn't the raid track towards the village?
The raid villagers are way up in the sky above the farm!
i did stretch the village, simple was the goal as we needed something and i really dislike the huge towers, it is temporary because i accidentally took the best outpost
they are also underground as well, the village extends from slightly below the afk spot to build height causing the village to be stretched
@@0ldGuy i seen the villagers way up in the sky. just wondering how much that impacted where the raid spawned.
@JustKona it impacts it a lot. Think about a sphere around the village center which is way high up. Now is the smallest circle at the poles of the sphere or at the equator? Obviously it’s at the poles of the sphere. So by moving the center as high as possible I’ve made the spawn area of the raids much smaller so they fit in that water stream area. I think it’s 45x45 iirc. Which is tiny. Think about hand fighting a raid in a village and they spawn on every side way out. I could probably make it smaller if I started with the village at build height and stretched it down rather than how I did it but it would only be smaller by a few blocks probably

I have but currently I’m working on the videos for the 7k stacked iron farm there are some raid farm stuff coming up.

Wait i haven't kept up much with mcbe tech much but since when were nether villages ok to do
Only recently did they fix them and end villages too. I can look up the number exactly but only very recently. They implemented dimension tags into the village nbt name. It only took about 3 years
Awseome stuff, any chance you can make this downloadable?
I will talk to the server members and see if I need to trim everything else and do just this or if I can release the whole server world

@@turtletom2878 yes. In order to have it soawn in such a small area. Think of a sphere like the earth. Is it wider at the equator or at the South Pole?
@0ldGuy off course the equator has a wider area (bit like my dad bod 🤣)
So the idea is to put the villager in the sky to stretch that sphere upwards, making it more egg shaped?
