On March 27th 2009, Disneyland premiered Celebrate! - A Street Party as a replacement for Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams in Aneheim California. The new "parade" features 99 performers, including 48 dancers, 12 stilt-walkers, 12 chariot drivers, three DJs and 24 costumed Disney characters. Disney characters include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Snow White, Simba, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Pinocchio, Belle and Beast, Ariel, Donald Duck, Goofy ,Pluto Woody, Geppetto, Winnie the Pooh, Daisy, Clarabelle Cow and Clarice the Chipmunk. The show features 15 songs, including swing (Jump With My Baby, Jump, Jive & Wail and I Wanna Be Like You), rock (I Love Rock n Roll, Do You Wanna Dance? and The Twist) and Latin (Cup of Life and Tico Tico). The conga line features a trio of reinterpreted Disney songs: Under the Sea, Friend Like Me and Tiki Room. The confetti-finale includes the infectious Cant Stop the Beat (from Hairspray) and the original tune Celebrate You. Recorded at Disneyland in Aneheim California. I love how this parade actually involves the guest , like the conga line was soo cute
I actually was able to see this parade in person. I loved it.

I was so hyped up when I saw this 2 years ago ( I was 18 and it was my first time there) I probably looked like a crazy person! I didn't care though... all the things I'd heard about Disneyland making you feel young again were true. The moment I walked in, I literally felt the years lift until I was the little girl who first wanted to see Disneyland. A truly magical feeling. God Bless you, Walt Disney, and thank you.
This and the SoundStational parade are the best!!!
We LOVED our trip to Disneyworld and can't wait to go back! Thanks for the memories!!
Oh, God. I cried like a baby at the Crystal Palace. Love Pooh too!
That little girl in the Mickey shirt dancing was so adorable
Dat Ash where was the girl? I can't see her! Example: 45:03
Im planning on taking my 4yr daughter to disneyland in a few months - this was a great way to show her what to expect. she absolubtly loved it.. thanks for sharing
My kids and I LOVED this! We saw it in 2010 During Spring Break and yeah, I thought it would be boring and didnt plan to watch but it started just as we were making our way to Space Mountain so the street was blocked. When the music came over the speakers so loud it just kind of filled the park ah. Only a complete grump would sit through that with their arms crossed. The cast did a great job hyping the crowd and even my "cool" 11 year and 15 years old were in the streets dancing. Was super fun.
that little girl across the street is sooo cute!!!
she keeps dancing during all the parade =P
:)))) photographer one :)) yeah :)))
Great Parade, lot-a-fun and people interaction. Maybe not as magical as previous parades, but some great music.
Love the video.
Saw this on Friday, and boy do those cast members dance up a storm - continuously, at three different parade stops, twice a day, in sweltering temperatures! I could live without the rock'n'roll section (I was going to say 'all non-Disney music', but "You Can't Stop The Beat" works terrifically). Absolutely infectious - great job folks!
I remember in childhood are used to dance with them and it was really fun at Disneyland
i want this show back in Disneyland the original, its so energetic and i love it
Totally awesome parade. One of the many reasons to go to Disneyland.
Unfortunately no Disney parade has been able to live up to the greatness of the Main Street Electrical Parade.
It was alot of fun to watch up close. i got a sunburn waiting for it
I've only been to Disneyland twice (although in saying that, I am from New Zealand, so it's probably not a bad effort). The Parade Of Dreams was spectacular, it kicked off with a rousing introduction from Walt Disney, the floats were beautiful (Beauty & The Beast stood out for me), and the show stop theme song was simply perfect. The whole experience gave me goosebumps. Unfortunately, I couldn't even bear to watch 15 seconds of this new parade...ick.
Keong and friends she but good here
Up your family are who you have fun
Let me right when do car park like he
Ok do something about that from do
My husband doesn't feel good day a
I LOVE THIS PARADE!!!!!
I totally love this parade so much and I celebrated my birthday when I was young. I've been to Disneyland from young to right now and I'm 20 years old. I'm a huge number one fan of Disney.
Vtq D,,. ? .d tu a yo tl
Me too
Especially at night at the seven-o-clock party. It's nothing but fun and energy!
my god it must be awesome to work at disneyland, everyday its a party!
i just got back from DL and i have to admit that i was screaming like an idiot when the Mad Hatter came out. I was standing on a bench and i was screaming his name while wearing one of his hats. he looked right at me and my cuz and sis, and he was waving and he blew me a few kisses! i held up a heart with my hands a few times, and he acted all surprised and gave them back! i basically stalked him to get a pic and an autograph!
I really like this video! My toddler and I watch it frequently! Thanks for posting it! :)
i agree.. maybe not that much, I think that Disney must have most of all that was created by Disney, but this parade takes off the magic that u feel when you hear the song of the sleepy beuty for ex. i will agree with you in that :)
Wow! I remember watching this video cause I was so excited for me and my family’s first Disneyland trip.
Time flies. 🥺❤️

Awwee, Lookit Alice & the Hatter in the background in some shots, theyre so cute! xD Wonderful people too!
this parade was really cool, I saw it on my birthday and donald came over and danced with me (I'm 23) I had so much fun! :P
this parade was always my favorite :D
Thats it!!!
I am going to hire them all for my birthday next year! lol

Nice camera positioning with the Orbiter in the background.
I love Disneyland
love Disneyland resort can't wait to go back I had fun
This is so cute!!!
I beg to differ on this parade/show stop. Yes, it is no Parade of Dreams, but it is still a very good and energetic show. I saw this about a week ago and not only was I into it, everyone around me was into it. You have to be there in order to fully experience it. Watching it here on CZcams does not count. Either way, this show can hold it's own and am glad because it definitely was a crowd pleaser.
Wow! looks like fun. sort of reminds me of the Block party they had at California Adventure several years back.
@ amaziing video i lovedd it
merry christmas 2014
i saw this in july on my bday and the dude on one of floats "happy birhtday!" and im like all emarrased cuz i was in the conga line XD
I remember watching it on August 20 2009 on my 8th Birthday we went my whole family from Ensenada B.C all the to Disneyland
My Mom,My Dad,My Sister and my Grandma RIP
1:54 That When We Are Celebrating, Here We Go!
oh shit, the girl at 13:23 did some spins and some tosses with that guitar!!!!! She's treating it like a flag!!! Wahooo!!!
pumpin up the party
What was cool about this parade is that each float was so generic that they could switch out the characters and no one would notice.
I’m glad I get to see Clarabelle Cow in that parade too.😄
I Saw This Parade When I Was a Kid
I remember this parade
street party!! great!
wowowo there bringing old school costumes back yeee :)
Being a past castmember in parades and shows IN MAGIC KINGDOM (Orlando)... good job cast!
I know Disney's Electrical Parade was replaced by the new nighttime show "World of Color" at California's Adventure Park. But, it still has some movies that was made by The Walt Disney Company including Pixar from the past decade.
@CosplayCore It's the differences between this version and the Disney World version, that are quite noticeable especially the dancing and such. The dancing in Magic Kingdom are more simple but easy to remember if you get me. So after a few times of seeing it you remember the dances. The songs are different as well and a bit more fun as well. None the less I like this one too :D
really cute!!
I enjoy watching this they gave me best moment never had wish you best wlit dinesy
Wish they did the electric parade and fireworks like they used to....
I went recently to Paris and was very very dissapointed to hear there wasnt going to be an electrical parade.... It was one of the best things about Disney.
i wish i could go to disneyland :( i live on the east coast and the hatter is awesome as well as the dancers!
Yeah, go big couple in the back dancing your butt off! That's what Disney is about..having fun. :P
some people are so lucky- getting to go to Disneyland
I went to Disneyland and saw that party!
Haha yeah my two friends every time a show stop was done they would like run to the next show stop every time one was over. AND that did that during both parades!! lol so they celebrated, jump and jived, loved rock n roll, etc 6 times! since you know there are 3 show stops!
@balen3 YOU SAID IT!
I remember seeing this in 1988 when it was called The Main Street Hop.
I need to go there

@TheCrazyCoasterKid yeah, they cycle through parades pretty fast. Especially day time parades
I saw this parade at DL too! They tried to get me to dance but i was like 'NO WAY' I was watching mainly for Bolt to come out, but nope. =(
@cahdez I think this parade is really very cool & fun to sing & dance to. :) I hope I get to see this parade when I go to Disney Land real soon,
From the day zhao miss 92 going on
Full size might see cool but also has
Up and Zhang Han solo zoom right
Very funny he thing for Monday you
@cooltennisdude1: They must've gotten over the "slump" because they have the Soundsational Parade running daily and Space Mountain and Star Tours are more than open now.
@kaorineji4ever I went to DCA a few months ago and let me tell you, the parade there has changed. It is no longer Pixar Block Party Bash. It is now a continously moving parade called Pixar Play Parade.
I Really Like It!
5*****
While I'm looking forward to Soundsational, I miss this show dearly. :(
This probably wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't following the masterpiece that was "Parade of Dreams." Seriously. That had everything a Disney parade should.
This looks cute and fun though.
all my great wouderful friend Ian,Estaban Andres Becky Matt ceaser justin Chris vernen and I and also the rest of my whole generation would love to celebrate every year at the Happiest place on earth called Disneyland
I don't get why this parade was so unpopular. It looks like a lot of fun :)

@Dragonrider1227 I don't even think they still have this parade, as this was filmed in 2009.
@TheDisneyVids So they put this street party as substitute of the parade, because they're making a new parade.
