MMG - Tempering a crucible - First start on FB2-Mb Devil Forge

I’m figuring out the operations of my new furnace and tempering the 8kg crucible that came in the package. I have to say, what a well made piece of equipment this is. Thanks Devil Forge!

Learning right along with ya! So just a piece of cardboard will keep the crucible from sticking? Nice tip! Another shout-out to BigStackD is in order, I believe. Let us know what ya got burnin'! Thanks for the demo. I feel a little more comfortable about doing this now.

You should find an any hill and poor some metal in it. Once cooled, it's the coolest looking sculpture.
