So i suggest you take the name brand (LIALDA) if you can afford it i take the 1.2 g of it now. My GI had me on Mesalamine the generic brand 1.2 g she said it was the same cut of materials used to make the pills BUT when i was on the mesalamine 1.2 g i was still flaring blood in stool. I switched back to (LIALDA) 1.2 g in January and NO MORE FLARING NO MORE BLOOD!@@MegaHowtoMan
