Sam and Aaron play through the new range of Hendrix designed pedals showing you how to get the iconic sounds. The pedals we've used are the Fuzz Face, Gypsy Fuzz, Octavio, Uni-Vibe and mini Wah.
These pedals really define the Jimi Hendrix sound and they're all in standard-sized housings which make them super convenient for dropping into any pedalboard.
Skip ahead:
1:50 - Fuzz Face
3:45 - Gypsy Fuzz
6:50 - Octavio
9:30 - Uni-Vibe
13:00 - Wah Wah - Hudba
That way will be mine for my new board. Getting bluguitar amp one too. Amp and pedals all on one board!!!
great review and guitar plaiying..
WHAT IS THAT FENDER SERVICE CENTER SIGN BEHIND YOU?
Mxr has no shame. Same old pedals in different boxes. They change them once a year.
MXR are perfect reproductions of the originals pedals from the 60's..70's and 80's.. Dunlop does not stray from from the original production of a pedal this is why Dunlop who owns MXR is the most trusted in pedal reissues Dunlop/MXR are to the exact Dunlop/MXR are also the only one endorsed by the Jimi Hendrix estate..
Angelo J Richetti A) you must work for MXR B) you missed my point I was not deminishing the quality of their product, just the fact they change the outside of this pedals with the same insides and call them some catchy name C) the hendrix estate allows them to use jimi's not because they love MXR or Dunlop or care about these pedal but because they pay the estate a ton of money. D) the reason why Dunlop owns MXR is not because they make "perfect" reproductions, it is because the make pedals and make money off of them. E) never use "perfect" in any argument, you will automatically lose it as we all know nothing is perfect, especially in the pedal business
Yeah but nobody is forced to by them, and this way you get a choice of what housing design you want
Where's Clem Fandango? Or Steven Toast, for that matter.
"Toast, this is Clem Fandango....can you hear me?" "Yes I can bloody hear you Clem Fandango!!"
stringsdirectTV Well played, Sir, well played!
Just kidding you young guys on a wee bit - your mate's a good guitar player and this is a well made presentation so, well done :-D But before I go......
"Ray bloody Purchase! What are YOU doing here!!".
Haha I was going to say that FYI "Ray bloody Purchase" also works here! Thanks for the comments. Will pass on your praise to Aaron (the player in the Vid) and Sam

i'm more of a Edward Van halen fan than Jimi Hendrix but I do like Hendrix his tone/sound is very easy to get and MXR is the perfect most Authentic way to get it..it does not take thousands of dollars to get his sound
i am a hendrix fan
the man is a god (and or alien from another planet when i came to producing sonic education and enlightenment)
once again the hendrix foundation are selling his spirit
these things bother me but i am still open to buying
so how do we sell hendrix stuff
we build hendrix guitar in mexico, rather than making them one of the FINEST CUSTOM GUITARS EVER BUILT
and we sell his pedals (his sounds) with a couple of gum chewing 'babes' who don't even play a single hendrix lick
quite simply i am disappointed and (as such) would not buy on the strength of this video
I HATE to leave disparaging comments, and try my best just to keep my mouth shut but occasionally (and where jimi is mentioned) i simply cannot contain myself
i apologise and you can quite simply call me the sentimental old (not even able to play guitar very well) asshole that i (undoubtedly) am
here (in my [asshole] opinion) is a guy p(L)aying jimi 🙌🙌🙌 the proper amount of respect ❗️❓❓
czcams.com/video/U7Ey-WIZ-1c/video.html
also if you play jimi licks you produce REFERENCE TONES for viewers (and customers) to HEAR (and gauge), just how good these pedals are
playing 'random notes' gives very little more than approximate
again i am an old asshole and apologise for speaking disparagingly
but if you gonna put yourselves out there and 'pedal jimi' then some are gonna come searching for 'jimi' 🙌🙌🙌
I think you should take your sorry "old ass" back to the sheltered accommodation you came from. You talk about disrespect of a long dead inspiration while casually slagging off living talent, showcasing "a product". Your irrelevant opinion is of no interest and Jimi himself would tell you to take your negative vibes home and leave us to enjoy what you clearly cannot appreciate.
I can agree with gum chewing part.
Hendrix was very good and the "top dog" in his day but he was no "god." Also, now, more times than ever, his playing sounds basic, at times crude, and very dated to me. And why shouldn't it be? Hendrix' heyday was some 50 years ago!
You tell em brotha
