As the guy that owns the Maestro sat next to it, while different and not my usual taste this Lexus looks the absolute nuts! 4k for those arms and bits seems mad but they do the job and get the results! I think you're very correct in saying only certain cars can pull it off, anything smaller would look silly but this is spot on!
Meastros are great, as are montegos. 6n Polo coilovers, wheels and sorted. Miss my old Montego - fitted coilovers and resprayed it in the camping field at Retro Rides gathering back in... 2016? Got a set of 17x7 et35 4x95.25 Image RM1 Split Rims here that would look the business on it ;)
Cool build and props to the owner, nice kranze bazreia’s too! 👌 Makes me miss my LS400 bad. The amount of wheel and tyre they can take is staggering, I had 11.5j on the rear with only coilovers, all standard arms a roll and slight pull
Is there a max camber setting you can get away with for an MOT? I can imagine a tester getting nervous if there's only a bike tyres worth of tread on the rollers 😀😀😅Great work and good luck with the ramp install 💪💪👍👍
Its not my bag, if you pardon the pun, but I appreciate the work done and the look - the wheels are 'chefs kiss'. On classic Minis, 1.5 degree negative front arms are pretty much as far as you'd want to go - while still being able to hit roundabouts at speed on rails lol. Horses for courses though, that Lexus looks a superb cruiser - ideal for shows and maybe cruises like Southend seafront in the old days. If you have a preset for normal driving, do you also have a 'spped bump' preset too? I'm not sure how that all works. Also, what is it like doing an 'emergency stop' in a car with that much camber? I suppose, its not really a problem with that much weight at 30ish mph. Reminds me of that Will Smith song with the line "Two miles an hour, so everybody sees you." haha. That colour is spectacular.
Appreciate the comment! the drive height is actually the speedhump height also, there’s a real amount of clearance there for them, should be fine! defo not a car to be racing about it, a simple cruiser that will never be really driven fast at all i’d imagine, i’ve never really had any problems in the past as you’re aware that the car isn’t exactly stock, so you drive to suit and never have to emergency stop, and if you did have to because i know it would, you’d already be driving slow anyway, definitely not the absolute perfect road car, but you’ll be alright lol
@@Joshwaa___ That is cool to know, but also bad to know - because now I'm wondering what the smallest bag is haha and if it could replace the rubber cones on a Mini! 10" rims and bagged could be interesting for one of the 6 of mine. I'd probably still have 1.5 degrees negative at 'drive height' all round... Mai gawd, like I don't have enough projects to day dream about! CZcams should have a warning "Caution, may increase workload." haha 😆 Cheers chap.
Be careful on the rear camber on these. I had a UCF20 with similar camber and it ended up stranded as maxing out the bottom arms pulled the driveshaft out of the diff so far they were barely clinging on and it chewed up the ends down and wouldnt drive the wheels any more!
Yeah i did think about this! was going to check on the 4 post ramp to see what the crack was at drive height! i suspect when it’s actually aired out it would probably be holding on for dear life!
Good Afternoon Josh. O.K., If the Client wants to drive his vehicle down the road as Crazy as that, then that is up to him. But, personally for me, I would never have my Wheels looking like that. For one it looks very Dangerous and i am sure it must Effect the way that the vehicle drives down the road, turning at road junctions, going round roundabouts. The vehicle itself looks absolutely stunning, but Not with the Mad and Crazy Camber. No thank you.
Absolutely bonkers in a good way, what a stunning car, sounds incredible! I do like the JDM car scene, I drive an E51 Nissan Elgrand Rider with 19's and would love to have it bagged! l;ol
Once it is tracked, it shouldn’t really be too much of problem, this car hasn’t been tracked hence the tyre wear, this is the common misconception of camber
Would this handle terribly or is it useable, or is it just for looks, genuine question, I’m old school put a set of gmax shocks and springs on my xr2 about twenty years ago 😂
It’s definitely not built for handling what so ever haha, but it will be useable once tracked, absolutely no way it’s going to handle better than it did, but it’s not really meant for driving hard on the first place, just a cruiser, shouldn’t think there would be much of a problem for normal driving
I've been following this channel for a while now (first started from the Sierra restoration)...but this whole 'bagging' lowering and putting the wheels at ridiculous angles....this can't be legal surely? Call me an old fart if you will...but cambering wheels at such extreme angles will do nothing for the life span of the tyres! How does one get these lowered cars over sleeping policemens, i wonder??!! And how do these car handle on wet twisty roads, with so little tyre contact? Just wondering....this is all new to me! Also, how do these lowered vehicles pass the MOT like this?! I have so many questions!
This car isn’t for you haha appreciate you watching the videos regardless! this channel is for what j get up to! and a lot of my life i’ve been doing stuff like this!
@@Joshwaa___ I interested in most things car related, usually the left for dead restos and the like, but I've never seen this type of modification before. Lowering yes, as i did that to my cars in my youth, but not like this! I've got images of flatten exhaust systems scraping along the asphalt on cars this low to the ground! 🤣
To be honest you know you stuff and good at it but it looks terrible that low and that camber is to much but if that is wat the customer wants and your getting paid for it then ok mate 👍
@@ceedark1 oh I get it... But it's useless to me. Especially where I live! How about a 6 inch lift instead... 😂 czcams.com/video/kXgvUEy1wpw/video.htmlsi=1lmYsKedQYNgaAy0
Proper VIP 😍 those rear lights are sick. The more I watch the more little details I see 😍👌 nice one Josh, you certainly know your stuff

Would love to see more on the Maestro - rare car to see these days, my brother had a poo brown one in the 90's haha. Think it was a 1.3 or something.

😎😎 appreciate the comment!
I love this channel for projects like this. Never been into stance, but this thing is sinister and it was fascinating to see how it's built.
appreciate the comment!!
Not what I’m into at all but thoroughly enjoyed the video. Your knowledge and insight into how it all works made it captivating. Keep it up!
appreciate the comment! i know it’s not for everyone :)

Not my bag but still a great video. Car culture is a wide spectrum and it's a great community to be part of.
Absolutely love them rear lights 😮
Great work Josh. Glad you didn’t cut everything up and weld it. Looks stunning 😍
😎😎
Love this car (and content) such a dope setup. ❤👹
Clearly there’s some new people here that haven’t realised that Josh is a stance boi
I knew it was gonna happen 😂😂 my bread and butter haha

There’s definitely probably a loop hole to get through lol

😂😂😂enjoy
You should get some toe plates for alignment on lowered/cambered cars, then you can dial it in very nicely
i do need some!
That Lexus is absolutely beautiful what a show car ❤❤❤❤
Incredible job as always!
Another wicked video brother. The lexus looks fresh out a shipping container from japan.
for sure!!
Looks like Godzilla stomped it, not my cup of tea but I appreciate the stance.
Appreciate the comment! i know it’s not for everyone, just a day in my life!
I agree on larger saloon type cares looks good. On smaller hatchbacks etc… looks crap.
for sure!!
Looks pretty perfect at drive height.
doesn’t look terrible!
Looks cool AF Josh, but i don't think I could drive one cambered out that much. If im paying for tyres that wide, I'm using all the fkn tread 🤣🤙
Wow! Amazing work as always
😎😎
You did not put the expensive arms in a steel benchvice without aluminium covers 😂😂
Be careful on the rear camber on these. I had a UCF20 with similar camber and it ended up stranded as maxing out the bottom arms pulled the driveshaft out of the diff so far they were barely clinging on and it chewed up the ends down and wouldnt drive the wheels any more!

i Agree!!! tyres are consumable haha

That Japanese newspaper is so cool
parts from japan always come with the goods baha
I need T-demand and bags.
Found the video interesting as interested on how its done. Its a no from me for the overall look. Each to their own!
Love it! 😮💨👏🏼
what have you done to the exhuast?, it sounds great.
Look trick dunno if i would do it 2 my own car but if customer loves it thats all that matters init nice 1 josh
Superb!
Hell ya!!! Big body's for life!
😂😂
I don’t get it, it’s for driving
Absolutely bonkers in a good way, what a stunning car, sounds incredible!
I do like the JDM car scene, I drive an E51 Nissan Elgrand Rider with 19's and would love to have it bagged! l;ol
Couldn't agree more!! i love an elgrand
Don’t get it Josh , must admit it looks Uber cool . Then again I’m just old lol 😂 keep it up ❤
I'm intrigued do they switch those tyres direction after so many weeks with so much camber? uneven wear and new tyres every month must cost so much
Once it is tracked, it shouldn’t really be too much of problem, this car hasn’t been tracked hence the tyre wear, this is the common misconception of camber
That’s one cool car.
Bang on 👌
😎😎
What a car
It’s ridiculous, how many miles per tyre does it get?
We will see once the alignment is done, i suspect 5k
WHY ????
Would this handle terribly or is it useable, or is it just for looks, genuine question, I’m old school put a set of gmax shocks and springs on my xr2 about twenty years ago 😂

Can you do a rear subframe lift to lay frame?
Haven’t even looked into it just yet! maybe in future 😎

Good luck with all the road humps ect 😂
It’s definitely not for daily driving with all the pot holes lol
Not my cup,of tea at all, but it’s well engineered and is loved by the owner - so good job but not for me.
appreciate the comment regardless!
Not my style of camber. But a interesting video nevertheless.
To be honest you know you stuff and good at it but it looks terrible that low and that camber is to much but if that is wat the customer wants and your getting paid for it then ok mate 👍
interesting video but that's not for me tbh...
Nope
TDemand is the shit
big time
Maybe I'm getting old why would anyone make a lovely car like that look a joke
Matter of opinion!
Looks stupid and broke
haha fair!
Nice car but not practical lol
Not a daily thats for sure!
i was going hit dislike because i don't like camber cars... Okay you get a pass this time.
Not for me all that stance, Good car ruined :-( cant watch it
Just a day in my life this channel :)
Nope... No no no no no. That looks horrible!
don’t watch then
@@Joshwaa___ how could I do that to you! You need the money!
I don’t think you get it
