Black Gap Road at Glenn Springs, Big Bend NP, in 99F250 crewcab, long bed 4x4 with over cap camper

Black Gap Road took hours for me to make the 8.5 miles drive. Literally had to get out and stack boulders to drive up and down on trail so my very long truck could make it. Some sections were so narrow the rear end would not be on the trail in turns. Very sketchy.

so black gap is reopened? i went in late September and the trail was closed.

I made it from River Road East all the way to Glenn Springs Road in my stock 99' F250 crew cab, long bed 4x4. Had to get out and stack stones at the stairs to make it down. My truck is way too long. The Rio Grande is still flooding everything alo g the river though.
