I ran into your channel randomly, what I really like is your vibes ! you're the type of Doc who are low key and down to earth that make the patient comfortable

I used little plastic bags filled with ice water and tied off. It moulds to the contour of your eye and is light and comfortable.

Does icing after 4 days have a negative effect on the swelling and healing?

Can I keep using ice cooling mask after a month of blepharoplasty or I won't see any benefits? Removed the stitches already. Thanks.

Hi, there. I had a procedure for upper and lower eyelid. It's been a month but the lower eyelid (right side) it's still red. How did you deal with your healing? Ice at the beginning (for a few days) then hot pads? Thanks.

Hi, I didn’t use hot pads, just ice pads in the first month. Make sure to send pictures to your surgeon and say your concerns.

Good to know about the icepacks. I am doing this surgery and a little concerned becausee it will be hot in my apartment and really hate to do it in the summer. My eyelids obscure some of my vision and will be paid for by insurance. He suggested a browlift also but insurance will not pay for it so I can not do it. What do you think about doing one without the other. Will I still look better? I am 68 and my lids are awful...no kidding.

I just had this procedure done last Tuesday both upper and lower lids I wish there was a way that I could post the pictures at the incredible difference in my eyelids I’m 67 and I’m glad I had it done my advice is obviously what is physicians are saying use that ice the first 3, 4 or five days The more ice or the longer you use it the better it is with the swelling I did not get a brow lift
