There's no chance he doesn't take them into next season now. These days people don't wanna give managers time, not even a year which isn't really that long.

Chelsea may only beat Tottenham, lost to Arsenal city and draw against Everton,Aston villa and Westham as far as pochetino is incharge.
If i owns a football club, there's no way I'm going to hired a coach that failed with messi and Mbape leading my attack...pochetino has the attributes of a failure judging from his previous job.....But the worst thing that can happen to any club is having JACKSON as your leading striker.

Opposing teams simply allow Chelsea to keep with the ball if they are ahead or the scores are level...and Pochettino misrepresents this possession as controlling a game...
The moment Chelsea score, the opposing teams do not let Chelsea keep the ball - they press more, counterattack more, and often score... This is why they have conceded at least two goals in each of the last SEVEN games.

@claudemakelele2856 Schools used to teach English Comprehension and debate... Your comment mentions Manchester City, but does not address a single point I made about CHELSEA...
City defend extremely well... They defend so high, that their defensive system is more anchored on Rodri than any centre-back, so they struggle when Rodri misses games...
Now, do you have an adult response with regards to Chelsea? The team that cannot press high (see all season), cannot sit deep (see recent draw with Sheffield United), and cannot counter-attack without leaving holes in the defence? (See recent win against Manchester United).

    • @obinnabede6718

Not all opposition allows Chelsea possession. Lower teams does. Chelsea conceeds mainly because none in midfield and full backs are sprinters. City has Kyle walker, rodri, akanji who has enough speed to recover. Although it also backfire some times, that's why they also conceive too.

No... Chelsea keep possession in a passive way, then lose focus, and then make mistakes...
This, or teams attack Chelsea, and they cants defend high, can't defend deep, and they can't press teams consistently.

I agree with a lot of the comments and what the pundits are saying. But one missing point, all teams have poor games where they can suddenly collapse and ship goals etc no matter how many leaders are in the team. Where coaching and leaders come in is how they react in their next match, how they learn.
The players don't seem to be well coached. I don't see patterns of play, an identifiable style, I see a team that reacts.

Poch this season has been a terrible manager in every sense of what a manager is... Before he started he was talking about the standards of Chelsea, then results went sideways and it was all about injury to Nkunku... He made it seem like once Nkunku was fit then Chelsea will start, Nkunku came and was uninspiring then got injured again, then he went on to complain about the age of his squad, something he already knew before taking the job. How can u blame inexperience when the best two players are 21 and under and arguably the worst player has been the most experienced attacker who has league titles in his cabinet... Never has he come out to say he has been at fault... Who is to blame when consistently throughout the season all second halves have been poor. Tells u this man cannot come up with a game plan to nullify hia opponent. If pre-match tactics don't work in the first half then chelsea become screwed. That is not a manager fit for a top club

I think that there’s a different excuse that’s coming out of Chelsea and there needs to be a little more accountability for their current situation whether it’s the players manager or even the owners for the way in which they ran this club. First, the manager was the problem, then it’s the players, we don’t have enough experience in this team, we lack a proper striker, the players are the problem, it’s injuries, just too many excuses.
It doesn’t change the fact that being in 9th place after spending hundreds and millions of dollars on players is simply unacceptable and the bar that Chelsea have set is so low right now. You’re telling me that they cannot beat the worst team in the premier league and dropped points by conceding a late goal to them after being in the lead twice. If they get out of the bottom half of the table apparently that’s good enough. What about fighting for a European place, for a team that’s spent a lot of money in one of the worst ways I’ve ever seen, they’re so far off a top 4 spot and they haven’t come close to getting back to fighting for the champions league places again and in the long run we want to see them get back to competing for the big trophies rather than them being so far off the top. Ok, getting deep in cup competitions looks good but we’re acting like getting to the Carabao Cup final or the FA Cup semifinal is like a bit achievement and for me the mentality of this football club is so small hence why Chelsea are nothing more than a mid table club. I feel like Mauricio Pochettino is on the brink of losing his job but it gets to a point where sacking the manager just doesn’t solve things anymore. For a club that’s spent a lot of money, Chelsea’s standards are very low and until there’s some proper changes then they’re nothing more than a mid table club and that’s all they’ll be under this American owner. Chelsea’s problems are deeper than Todd Boehly and the owner has some responsibility for how poorly he’s ran this club as Chelsea went from a team winning trophies like the Premier League and champions league to now this even after spending a lot of money.

@papahersie3478 you probably skipped school all these your 60 wasted years and failed to know that the accumulated experience of your tutors can be passed down (coached) without having to go reinvent the wheel yourself. The principles of football have already be observed, tested and verified. Some great coaches have the ability to instantly pass on this knowledge. Poch is lacking.

Had Chelsea bought Enzo, and surrounded him with Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic for 1-2 years, he'd have become one of the best mids in the world. Right now, the poor kid's rotting trying to learn by himself and getting lost in the process. They didn't need to buy 10 players. Just a few, to improve the declining team in 1-2 years. That's a project. Not this.

This is Chelsea biggest problem. You have a player whose only interest in the game is when you are attacking and has no interest in participating defensive responsibilities or fighting for the team defensively, a player who only is able to perform if the opposition team gives him space, but if marked no longer has an interest in the game, who faced with a defensive wall or low block passes the ball to others facing the same wall so they are left with the responsibility of dealing with the low block as we saw with the Madueke goal, and whose stats will show him as a provider of solutions because he receives points in his stats for assist when in truth 1. passed the responsibility to Madueke near him who faced with the wall skillfully found a solution and scored, 2. he took a shot which was off target, but was skillfully redirected by Jackson to go into the net, or 3. he was losing control of the ball and Sterling took the ball from him then skillfully dribbled through several players before shooting from a reasonable distance to score in the right hand top corner. These are just three examples of where he has been credited with an assist. You then look at his goal stats which show 16 goals, but do not mention that about 7 of those goals are penalties and so if Chelsea do not win penalties, he's contribution to the game will be minimal if anything at all in most games. And this player is seen as the leader of the team. It is no wonder that if a player with such a contribution to a team is seen as the leader, Chelsea are mid-table, especially if the manager agrees with such nonsense that this player is the leader, and especially if the public manipulated by the media whose only wish is to find any reason to be hysterical in praise for him expect the manager to see and treat him as a leader ignoring his weaknesses, such his liability to the teams defensive challenges and why Man City aware of his good qualities recognised the seriousness of his weaknesses to a team and so did not play him and then sold him. Peace and love

Palmer has covered more km than all attackers per game. Check stat. He is the only one desiring to press, sits low sometimes,, though poch is recently sending him on the flanks. His main flaws is not being able to release pass early, no defense splitting pass, and shot accuracy of below 50 percent. As for penalties, that's the only thing we can say 90% we will score than any other condition in the field. Even 1vs 1 with any other, it's still 50v50.

    • @RichardJuukovsky
      @RichardJuukovsky Před měsícem

@@obinnabede6718 It's not necessarily that he does not run, it is that he does not like to do the most difficult running fighters do which is defensive running and defensive positional running where the goal becomes at most risk, and tries to leave it to the rest of the team or in particular Gallagher. Attacking running and pressing running which is just short of attacking running is a different kind of running with no risk of losing a goal to the opposition present and all footballers enjoy that even school and pub team players. Peace and love
