whenever you have a 'technic part' on your build, jet turbine blocks on one section of your build will treat everything linked to the other side of that part as a separate entity. It will weigh on your build just as if you were being pulled by a foreign object. Technic blocks include everything that can move and connect blocks, for instance--wheels, servos, springs, and hinges. The only thing that seems to not affect flight path for jet turbines are piston blocks, i recommend just making mechanisms with pistons and avoid other technic blocks.
