  • Plum Punch | The Most Refreshing Summer Drink - by The Cooking Fellows
    Ingredients (for 2 glasses):
    Plum: 3 medium cut in half
    Water: 2 Cups
    Mint Leaves: 8-10
    Mint stems: 3-4
    Lemon Juice: One-Fourth Cup
    Orange Juice: Half cup
    Sugar: 4-5 Teaspoon (alternately, Honey can also be used)
    Half Lemon: cut in quarters
    Apple Chopped: One-Fourth Cup
    Crushed Ice / Ice Cubes
    Recipe:
    1. Take a small saucepan and pour water in it.
    2. Add 4-5 mint leaves & stems, plums and sugar to the water, bring it to a boil.
    3. Switch off the flame after 5-7 minutes and let it cool for an hour.
    4. Discard the mint stems, peel the plums, and blend them in same water.
    5. Now take a pitcher and put remaining mint leaves, lemon wedges, sugar and salt in the pitcher, and muddle the mixture for about 30 seconds to release the juice out of lemon and mint leaves.
    6. Add Lemon juice, Orange juice to the muddled mixture along with Plum juice.
    7. Serve the final mixture in glasses, top it up with Ice cubes (or Crushed Ice) and Apple pieces.
    8. Garnish with a Plum slice.
