To show or hide all 48 macro buttons, select the View->View/Hide 48 macros menu item. Toggling it on or off will show 1 or 4 rows of buttons.
Make sure to have "One above RX/TX" ticked and uncheck the "4 bar macro set below TX" on the Config Macro Buttons dialog. That should display all 4 rows of macro buttons above the transmit section.
Thank you so much. 73
Wish I could give 5 thumbs up for this comment. Managed to finally get these 48 macro buttons by following your directions. FLDIGI is pretty unintuitive to setup.
TOM your a valued treasure and resource to the ham community... NS9T 73 sir, ty!
Thank you
Thanks! Your videos have been very helpful as a new operator (KE2CPG--Jerry) I have a question--may have missed in the video. How do you set the speed of the of the CW? For instance my contact asks me to QRS? Thanks again and 73
Since I'm using an external keyer - WinKeyer USB - changing the speed if just a matter of turning the knob on the front of the keyer. If you're using a rigs internal keyer, there should be a on screen setting for that.
My K1EL should be delivered tomorrow via snail mail. I understand why CW was picked. Will the Keyer decode the CW and print to Fldigi. I use Flrig to PTT the radio. I use Flrig for JS8call, Varac, and Pat Winlink on my Linux laptop. Way back in 2009 or there about I used a Soundcard and Fldigi to decode and print on Fldigi. The Winkeyer is a new device for me.
The winkeyer usb is a keyer only, but I believe that fldigi includes a decoder - or has the capability of using a plug in decoder. I’ll have to go back and review.
I just checked…. Yes fldigi will do the cw decoding for you…
