    brother Ziad Hatahet,
Imam Makki said they are close. and he is right. because the ض comes close in its end to the ظ. this is why until today many people in some Syrian towns in Dara and alqunaitira at least as i have seen and known they pronounced exactly ظ.
i did not say the ض is shadeed!! it is definitely rikhu because its sound flows a little bit due to the istitala of the tongue. Istitala is طلب الطول and it is not what you mentioned.
the video you linked has a sound that has nothing to do with the ض of the Arabic language.
in brief, the ض that i pronounce is the one that we as Arabs know very well and have narrated it from our teachers as well as our fathers and mothers through the ages and we need no proof from any source to prove it because this is the biggest proof. it is tawatur of millions of people who pronounce it this way. it is the chain that connect me to the greatest reciters of Qur'an in the Ummah, by Allah's grace.
Al-albani is not an authority in this field at all. yet. i heard Alalbani in some recording and he says it right. i do not know any reliable scholar of Qiraa'a or Arabic who says the ض is like the video you sent!
jazakallahu khairan and i hope you realize that this is something that is self-evident for us

      Jazakallahu khairan for the note
I usually do...maybe here it was cut from the recording
Yet, please be aware that istiaatha is not wajib (but Sunnah) according to the majority of the scholars as Imam AnNawawi and others mentioned

May Allah make it easy for you
Not any type of mistake in alfatiha makes it invalid
That's a big generalization which is not correct

    brother,
you are trying to prove what is self-evident for us and for millions of reciters and normal Arabs. I quoted for you one sentence that should be enough but it seems you are trying to prove 1 plus 1 is not 2!!
what we are pronouncing is not a heavy د. it is ض .
I will not allow such an article that is full of mistakes in my channel. end of comments in this regard. jazakallahu khairan

istitala of the ض is something mentioned even by scholars of the Arabic language like sibawayh. imam Ibn Aljazari rahimahullah mentioned and all other Imams of tajweed.
Ibn taymiyya is not an authority in qiraat and reality disproves his claim if he said so. every Arab knows that there is a big difference between ض and ظ
