If a teammates body is glitched like that all you have to do is have any players still alive move back 30 metres and then when you go to the body it is fixed ... not 100% sure on the distance required as it's been a few weeks since I did it but it definitely works

I 100% want DMZ back as a stand alone game. I DON'T CARE ABOUT BATTLE ROYALE OR WARZONE. I really don't much care about non infinity ward games honestly. I don't care about Black ops. I don't care about battle royale players. I know people like that new delta force but it seems different without big maps and vehicles and the race to final extraction.

i really wish someone would just rip off all of the ideas that were in dmz. Like Delta Force has so many things from DMZ and perfected many of them, but the things it didn't take from DMZ like fighting over the final extraction helo makes me really miss dmz.

Hating as your will, you cannot deny the fact that DMZ and it's contents, the night mode, the maps and the Nuke challenge from MW2 is what bring so much new players come to the franchise in the time it's active!!
Literally just explained the pain of the zombies community. I know it would probably never happen but I would love to see standalone games for both DMZ and Zombies, instead of being an after thought to MP, Campaign and BR.

@@nathansonnen9407 apparently these studios aren't keen on picking up each other's work. That can be for a number of different reasons. Developers can be particular. It does suck but it will only get better if more people learn to develop games.. I'm currently working on an rpg to tell the backstory to a novel I'm writing. When is done I'll try my hands in the Unreal engine.

I mean I just got my first ever 10x missions (Damascus) a few weeks ago. All solo runs, all crazy insane. I died tired to solo koschy 10 times but on the 6th a squad came into my area, otherwise so no players. So instead I did it on Ashika and Al maz. It wasn’t easy but it only took one attempt. Also I play sweaty as shit PvP all the time and love that too. This is why DMZ is all I play - we got it all in there.

I always looked forward to playing DMZ after work. I was a "hard-core" solo player, never squad filled. But I always picked up other solos and joined chill squads regularly. I would pay full price for a stand-alone DMZ title.

A few changes would revive the game. Wipe missions and stuff sometimes. Fix the bugs. Tone down the bots. New map would be cool. Rebalance a few guns. Maybe a separate mode for the whining solos that has only solos lol.

DMZ was the best mode ever released, as far as I am concerned. However, I will not be returning as it is obvious they don't give AF about DMZ and its players.
I think Delta force captures the sweet spot between COD and Tarkov, fusing all the good stuff of all the games. And if they also improve the extraction mode further with player feedback, no other game will beat them.
I’m thinking about trying it. I loved DMZ but I can’t stand the sweats of warzone. On the other hand Tarkov is too hard for me.

DF is great to play but nowhere near as good to watch as DMZ.
Problem with Delta Force is they need a waaaay bigger map. That multiple mini maps get stale.

dmz is a stand alone product and deserves the continued development for it's fan base ...it really has been a hoot and if it upsets the certain other format/variants of gameplay then it needs its own dev's and team to continue it's unique gameplay. A no brainer really.

With the advancement of AI in video games and voice communication with AI it could be conceivable that you could talk to and negotiate with AI on the map and or you could have an AI Squad that you would communicate directly with and they would communicate back to you in real time, in game... now that would be cool
I met a premade 6+ man team last night in Almazrah. 2 had the under barrel glitch running too!
I was solo and had no chance. By the time they caught up with me, the bots had me down to no plates.
Very frustrating.

it makes me so mad how they just didn't realize how special this game mode is and could be and i feel like so many of the Battle Royale players just never really tried it out enough. i met so many people in BR who told me that they never even tried DMZ.
I'm a casual player and loved DMZ but since the end of it, I really don't play it. I've really enjoyed plunder quads... which has fulfilled my love for casual play and not left me with wanting to leave just yet. That's just my opinion. Love your content, and I continue to watch yours, so keep it up. Like I said before, I'm just a casual player that enjoys a less than fast pace hame but with challenges and rewards.

Phixate, definitely miss the old DMZ myself. Even since modern warfare 3 come out, I have been mostly playing a few modes but heavily in the zombies mode more than the other modes. And I have been in the DMZ here recently been actually trying to unlock the jak aftermarket part for the lachnman shroud (3 shot burst to full auto) and trying to do my missions which is a pain in the butt to do these days. LMFAO.
DMZ needs to be its own game with its own team dedicated to it. I think that would be the only way to get me back into COD personally. But I hope the future of DMZ can one day be bright if not, then just done better by another company.

Activision has the ability to release DMZ as a separate mod--game, and maybe have just a similar map to BR, it does not have to have the same mechanic as warzone, like zombies...
I think if the game had its own bigger map the same player count and AI to player ratio, no crossover weapon progression with mp/br. also having a real campaign storyline and adding in survival game-type elements like needing to eat and needing to drink or u get d-buffs.
DMZ needed an economy, a reason to loot, a better backpack system for storing loot! The advantage COD has over other games is its actual gameplay!

If BR players are the reason DMZ wasn’t supported anymore, they can suck it
since the anticheat does not work a little moderation in its current state would go a long way. somehow enough newbs seem to find their way into dmz, just did a weapon case in vondel with some billies. but they will not stick around if they get mrkd repeatedly by underbarrel glitchers and wall hackers. also, just last week two new exploits seem to have surfaced and without active support they will transform into new gameplay 'features'.
I personally wish DMZ would be spun out into its own mode like Zombies that could live beyond its connection to Warzone. Love the mode but it's state right now is pretty bad. PS it doesn't keep me from playing it every day, currently working for serpentine since I finished all the missions!

i may be retarded but i feel the movement is better in DMZ than WZ MW3. My squad have been playing casual DMZ every night since release. still to this day. We wont play anything else. Be the voice of the people bro. Keep DMZ alive.

DMZ is by far my favorite mode. I miss playing Team Deathmatch, Sabotage, S&D.
I remember when COD launched the BR mode, and I was stoked. but DMZ is a much more active and personable experience.

Only way DMZ could return is DMZ having it's own dedicated servers and it's own dedicated Dev Team separate from Battle Royale and Resurgence.

Never been a fan of BR. Always played multiplayer, but after playing dmz, i became a fan instantly.
It was such a stupid move to base everything off of Warzone. It has caused more problems than anything. Even Multiplayer gets ruined by Warzone updates.

Ive played all the extractions out there (except delta force didnt get a key) and dmz being so casual was still my favorite out of them all.
You would love a return and proper support.
I'm not what one might call a ''gamer'' but I have to say that DMZ is/was one of the best game modes I've ever played. The slower gameplay, the PvP, the missions all of it. I logged hundreds of hours and although it's had a turn for the worst lately, I'm still a huge fan. I sincerely hope the devs get after it in 2026.

I played cs 1.5 for years, dust2, aztec etc. and never bored of it years ago.

If delta force takes off and carries on with content then it doesn’t matter that it comes back. It’ll be dead and they’ll have missed their chance.
As long as they don’t remove DMZ completely I’m happy because I bought a bunch of bundles the is “DMZ-specific”. It would feel strange and unfair to take away the opportunity to use these bundles to their full potential.

I wonder if Call of Duty will be little late to release DMZ 2026?? I got a feeling that it will be like when Nokia totally missed the train in to the new mobile market with smartphones. So many other company releases extraction shoots games now and give gamer's the products we want.
They should take the existing codebase for DMZ, fix it a little, and spin it off into a standalone title. Remove all ties to the Warzone game mode. F2P or even low cost. The devs had some excellent ideas for this mode and they implemented them very quickly. I can only imagine the possibility for content if it didnt' have to follow the time line of another game.
To make it clear - I dont think DMZ needs a 2.0 (yet). It just needs to be picked back up.
That said, its probably too little too late. They are about to have some real competition on their hands in Arena Breakout and Delta Force.

Yes. I love DMZ. That said, there is a new game a guy named Loochy has been playing. It's called Delta Force and it looks just like DMZ. So DMZ plans will have that.
The numbers will determine if it returns and from my perspective I very rarely have an issue finding a game even now, in the middle of the night sure but 9am - 1am there’s no problems and that’s just on console.
If you don’t want to stream DMZ don’t stream it but quit with the negativity Phix, a lot of us still love it.

Well, yeah. That's the formula that we've had in Call of Duty for- well. . . forever. Zombies players have never gotten support outside of their title release year. None of the studios' side projects get support past their year. (Zombies, Spec-Ops Survival, DMZ, MWZ, etc.)
The only hope for DMZ is for it to become it's own active, live product just as Battle Royale exists with it's own studio managing and developing it while not being bound to any specific year's main title release.
The studios that made delta force hawk ops made cod mobile Activision was the publisher on cod mobile so it would make sense that delta forces extraction mode has dmz devs working on it which I'm sure most of you know. The backpack system will screw dmz for sure but when hawk ops releases on all platforms we will have dmz 2.0 essentially just different studio. Cheers
Activision is missing the opportunity for a whole other branch of game type. It’s an error to keep it in the warzone category. It’s beta after all and precisely why it should be stand alone.. “DMZ Counter Ops”

Even if it comes back, those 15 min weapon bundles, uavs and other P2W crap totally took away from the experience. It was so much fun to gather weapons or do zero to hero, now it's a sandbox battle royale with reversed circle.

When cods players go to delta force, which is free. They will realize people want to play extraction shooters. It will force their hand at dmz which main streamed it

Haven't played BR since I understood was DMZ was. I may play BR if friends ask just to fill in but have no plans to play BR on cod ever again.

Once Delta force reaches the consoles think most DMZ players will go over to that, the makers have seen an open market and taking advantage. And it looks good on the PC, I love DMZ but unless Activision updates or releases a new map then they will drive the fans away.

DMZ stays they'll probably update the movement which would be fine if they don't and they keep it anyway that's cool two I'll play it every once in a while

2026 is too long for it to make a return. I feel like they were the first in with making a very casual extraction shooter, but we're the worst dressed. Right now it seems like people want something like DMZ, but want more depth. For me, I've been loving delta force. If DMZ were to get an update this year, or even early next year, it would still be able to grab me. But by 2026 I don't think I'd be as interested.
