Where are the laundry facilities located? The hall floorplan shows rooms and bathrooms but not laundry. Also, is the "A" side of the room the left side or the right side by the sink? Will be on 2nd floor Clement Hall.
how did you hang up your mirror on top of the wallpaper? i’m so confused on what the material is for the bulletin board and i don’t wanna cause damage lol:)

Hi, love the dorm!! Quick questions since I'm moving into Coleman dorms next month:
How much wallpaper did you need? Or I guess I would say how many rolls?
Is it recommended you get a shoe rack for more space?
Where was the little jewlery holder thing from !
Hey! I got two rolls. I’m not sure what the dimensions were though, I think they were just the average size. And I would definitely recommend a shoe rack. And the jewelry organizer was from At Home, and the necklace hanger was from target. Not sure which one you were asking about haha

what size curtain rod did you get for the closet? length of the curtain? very cute room!!!
The one I got is adjustable but I’m not sure on the size... I got it and the curtain at Bed Bath and Beyond though! The curtain is standard size, so I think 63” x 38”. Hope that helps :)

Hey Payton! Sorry this is pretty late but I curious, I was going to buy a 28" monitor cause I just bought a new mac mini (computer with no display). Do you think that would fit under the desk area?? Btw, nice room!!
Hmmm, I’m not sure if it would fit under the shelf, but I’m sure you could figure out how to arrange it. There were people with huge computer setups for computer engineering and stuff, and they made it work. So I’m sure you can too!

Hey I’m an incoming freshman and I’m staying at gates. On your wall did you have a bulletin board also? Also did the wallpaper peel anything off?

Walmart!! But there are also some at World market that are cute too
Im going in the spring, but do they do like roll calls?? Like requiring you to come in at a certain time and staying all night?? I’ve never lived in a dorm but me and my boyfriend normally go running in the morning around like 4-6 just because its kinda quiet.. if i have to stay in tho idk how to break it to him :/
No they don’t! There’s no curfew or anything. You can come and go as you please :)

I’m not exactly sure what the measurements are, but I got two rolls of wallpaper and it worked for me. I bet you can google the dimensions or look them up on Techs website!

@@kenziemorris3228 the mirror on my side is from target in the magnolia section! And the mirror on my roomates side I think is from world market but I’m not sure
how did you hang your mirror up on your bulletin board?
I just hung it like you would normally!! They say you can’t put holes in the wall, but you can 😂 everyone does it. They won’t do anything

I think wallpaper is a better idea! But fabric will still work if you can’t get wallpaper

We used a nail on the door 😂 you aren’t supposed to but everyone does
do you have a thermostat in this dorm?
Sadly no :( the temperature is controlled in the main office. I would get a heater and a fan to try and control your own room. Because the dorms get pretty cold some days and pretty hot the other days

So every hall in Tech has a community toilet/bathrooms instead of one bathroom/toilet per room ?
Almost all of them do, yes. There are a couple halls, like talkington for example, where you have 4 roomates and two bathrooms per suite. I don’t remember all of the halls’ names, but talkington and Murray are both suite style with personal bathrooms
@@paytonteeple3749 Are community bathrooms clean, hygenic, easy to use ? And doesn't it get crowded in peak times? I am a incoming freshman so please don't mind the questions.
@@rishavshrestha2935 yes they are super clean! They get cleaned every day. And I have never had trouble with crowded bathrooms. I think the most I’ve ever seen in the bathrooms at one time was like 3 people

The jewelry box is from a store here in lubbock Called “at home” and the shoe rack is from Walmart!
Question for you: I toured Tech recently and the dorm they showed us looked like this but smelled really bad, is that a problem in your building too or was that a weird summer thing maybe?
It honestly just depends on the dorm. In my building, the guys floor always smelled like 🍃🍃, but the girls floor smelled fine. It was the same in pretty much all of the other buildings too. It was never really a problem for me, and my roomate and I used wallflowers from bath and body works to keep our room smelling good lol

No, this is hulen, but the layout of Weymouth is pretty much identical!

It’s self adhesive wallpaper! I got it off Amazon. It’s called tempaper pearl distressed gold leaf wallpaper
