  • The Human Factors and Ergonomics Program at the University of Minnesota is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on how to make technological systems safe, effective, and easy to use. It encompasses everything from wearable technology, to human space flight, to information design and motion sickness. At the University of Minnesota, graduate students can earn MS or Ph.D. degrees in Human Factors and Ergonomics and can work with an interdisciplinary faculty spread across eight departments at the University (Design, Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, Computer Science and Engineering, Environmental Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Educational Psychology, and Writing Studies).
