  • Here at GSF Car Parts today to take a look at what they do as a company and to see if we can get any information on who they sell to. We do get someone from the company next door getting all upright about being on camera, and he gets a little ride later on.

      Because a man with a camera is dangerous.

    • @streetvideoreviewer
      @streetvideoreviewer Před rokem

      @nigelhajjar It could be that the auditor is wearing a mask. And they may have had encounters before with auditors who were aggressive or unpleasant. Or they may just be generally worried about security. I agree that many of the people captured in these auditing videos show poor social skills, but try looking at it from the point of view of the person in front of the camera, who never asked to be put in that situation in the first place.

    • @mrgaudits
      @mrgaudits  Před rokem +3

      @streetvideoreviewer my understanding on this is if you don't want to be in camera, then don't come up to it? And yeah, I do wear a mask, but I'm not rude until they get rude. I'm polite all the way until it turns. It's legal to do it. They just think authority is what they can show about in punky. 😆.

    • @streetvideoreviewer
      @streetvideoreviewer Před rokem +3

      @@mrgaudits If you were wearing a mask, then the reaction of the staff was perfectly understandable. Put yourself in their shoes. Imagine if you were responsible for security at a business and a masked individual was stood outside filming the premises without having notified you first. Personally I would be seeking advice from the police. These people didn't ask for you to turn up and they don't know that you're an auditor, they're not mind readers. Even if they did guess what you're up to, it doesn't follow that they should be expected to assume that your intentions are entirely benign. You could be using 'auditing' as a cover for something more sinister.
      If you were filming in a place where the general public were normally expected to be and you were not wearing a mask, then I would have more time for what you are doing. I'm not against auditing in concept as I do agree that the police and security personnel abuse their powers and can behave unaccountably toward the public (I have been a victim of it myself), but I don't agree with this type of auditing. I think it's low-class, abusive and exploitative because you are picking on innocent people at work.
      Here's a thought for you:
      Standing up for people's rights is laudable, but it should not involve trampling on the rights and dignity of other people.

    Auditing was originally about how the Gov't spent our money, it had NOTHING to do with going around PRIVATE companies, all this does is highlight how far you lot have come from the original concept of auditing, which I totally agree with, I dont agree with hassling Privately owned companies that have nothing to do with Gov't spending. And your viewers like the confrontation and not the car parts or suchlike, they watch for the hassle and you know it. And your u der GDPR too. As a business, you earn money from these vids, your subject to the same rules as you spout in this vid and subject to scrutiny from the Inland Revenue. Stop lying to these people and your viewers, this type of 'auditing' is wrong, and you know it, which is why you will prob delete it asap 😂

      I think this kind of content is wrong on many levels, your there to wind people up who are trying work which is unfair, I’m sure u wouldn’t like it if I posted your work place or identity so people could stand outside your place of work ????

    • @mrgaudits
      @mrgaudits  Před 7 měsíci

      @@ThejokerNo1 well there are a few things here u should clear up. 1, I am never out to annoy or wind people up. I go to places to see if what they are doing is correct.
      2, they don't have to come to the camera. If they just let me be is be done in 10 minutes or less. The fact they say this and that is down to them.
      And, 3, you can do what ever from a public path or road. If you're on public and you can see it with a camera then that's lawful. So if you did do that outside my work place then please do so, it would not bother me or anyone in there as we're not scared to be filmed as we are all day long inside or outside a work place.

      @@mrgauditsWhether you earn money or not is immaterial, you operate as a business, and therefore under current uk laws subject to GDPR and Inland Revenue scrutiny.. plus public scrutiny on how you operate your PRIVATE business, seeing as private businesses are so interesting to you. This type of 'auditing' of private companies has zero to do with the original concept of seeing how public money was/is being spent. Focus on that and you will have less problems from the gen public about what you do. Don't be a sheep and follow those other 'frauditor' idiots, be unique, have ur own USP, and stay within the law, research it urself and not what you've been 'told' is the law by other channels, as most are actually wrong..

      So what you are saying then that if "YOU" don't want your picture captured lets say by the council, would you really be going into the building to ask them to delete all the footage with you on it because you feel like you can? No, is the short answer to that. Not just that, just watch the video again and take a look at where they come to. You'll find it's a public path which they walked out onto. If they don't want to be on there then stay inside. I was on public and from the public path I am by law, allowed to take pictures/videos all day long if I wanted to.
