    Turned out nice Terry, my wife watched your video with me and guess what, yep now I’ve got to build her one just like it. Thanks and PS can’t hardly wait to get started.🤪

    Great job! You should show a quick video of what the trellis has growing on it now... I bet it is beautiful!

      Thanks. We already started filming a part 2. The clematis might be a while but, we split some Sassafras logs for benches. Started making pavers for the floor. And working on a design for a hanging light. Thanks again.

    Beautiful job! Exactly what I need for my mothers rose bush. Of course on a much smaller scale! Thanks for the idea!

    I love rebar to work with. You did a nice job and a nice design. All that work and cement, what a deal.

      @@Rgreenacres Hi I'm back... Is that A615 type rebar? was not too brittle? What size weld rod did you use?

    • @Rgreenacres
      @Rgreenacres  Před 2 lety +1

      Not sure on the Rebar type. Only know it was Grade 60 (#3). Is rebar brittle? I thought it was designed to bend. :) The rod was E6013 1/8th inch. Bought like 20 pounds at an Estate Sale.

      I know. What was 3.99 is now 14.99. I should have bought double back then.

    How do you get the measurements please

    • @Rgreenacres
      @Rgreenacres  Před rokem

      Well, I had an area of 4'x 8' to work with. I know I wanted the top to be 8' tall. I drew it out on sketchup.

      @@Rgreenacres one of the reason I just bought a used Lincoln 260 MiG still under warranty for $2000 (new $4000 ) is to build this trellis so I could justify the cost of the welder I just won a bid on a local online auction site of probably worth of 2500-3000$ coated 20’ rebar maybe 60 plus pieces don’t no how many uncoated 6’ pieces for a $171 my wife and I lost our 21 year old daughter 3 years ago this coming April my wife has always been into gardening but since we lost her my wife has been into flowers I thought this would be an amazing addition to what she has been doing thank you

      @@derekcarstensen9134 I bought my welder still on the pallet for $100. Some guy really wanted a Mig instead of a stick so, lucky me. Sounds like you got a nice deal. Rebar is so expensive these days. Do you have to remove the rebar coating to weld?
