Its Saturday morning, I got up at 4. Now it’s 5:37 am, 47 degrees outside. I just got back in the house from my warm up run. About to hit the weight bench. While I was out, it was a ghost town. Started doing push ups a month ago. That too in a pristine forest alone. God I'm out of shape. Acheived two sets of 30. Aiming for Two slow sets of 40.
Also taking self defence classes from an old friend who's a martial arts instructor.
I'm a farmer by profession and fit too so I thought it would be easy getting up to speed.
God it was painful screaming to get upto 30.
Then followed by meditation and prayers to our creator.
The results...body posture has changed. I changed from a sloppy six footer to an active one.
My walking gait looks fit and healthy. Don't need no put on swag.
It's been three years that I gave up drinking and my smoking has reduced drastically.
If you have a nearby forest. Do the pushups there instead of the gym. It's so much better with fresh air in your lungs. Then there's trekking. A maybe 300 foot steep climb completed at a steady twenty minutes.
So I'm pushing myself to the limit and I'm surprising myself everyday.
I'm 42 and it's great to be 42. This will be my workout and more because I'm enjoying it.
Now, I have a grown up daughter and since my first wife expired many years ago I've been re-married several times with all the wrong women.
But the truth is that I was picking the first second or third woman that I could get into the sack with.
I did not make a conscious effort to choose.
Now, I care a damn. I wanna choose and I know I can.
I'm actually getting eyed up and high profile women are giving me the eye and trying to be around me.
Happened this evening again in the city.
And I'm not falling over them like a little puppy but instead I'm choosing when to give them my attention.
A natural confidence has been instilled from within me.
Now I can actually stay away from baggage freaks and not care a damn no matter how hot they doll themselves up.
I went to repair an old laptop and God the owners young wife was chatting me up.
And every other woman I've longed for before and I know are still single.
This evening an equally tall 5'8" girl almost half my age started at me and through the corner of my eye I could see her break a smile.
So what the f**k is wrong.
Tell you what. Nothing was wrong.
I was wrong...all these years.
I'm super positive around people without trying and people like being around me.
Even as a 6 footer this has never happened before since after my mid 20s and 30s.
So guys, maintain the discipline. Build on yourself from the inside.
And the right person will come along. Someone you can really get to know as a person.
I know what woman I want. Someone with a brain, as carefree as I am and business minded. Someone who doesn't cry about money all the time.
She most definitely will come along.
God I'm surprised as hell. I'm in no rush to get hitched since I'm spoilt for choice.
Some of you may think I'm making this up but I swear to the creator and God it's true.
So get off your butt and start working out.
Building your self mind body and soul.
And be positive.
