Second of all they’ve saved people on countless occasions, for example, putting Man-Ray in a block of tartar sauce to seal him away. They are an inspiration to SpongeBob and Patrick to be heroes as well. Sure, they don’t really fight crime like they used to, but they can still beat the crap out of some criminals. Barnacle Boy is a younger adult, so he would probably fare better than Mermaid Man.

SpongeBob is obviously my boi. He may be stupid and naive, since that’s his character, but don’t forget that there have been lots of times where he’s actually intelligent and aware of certain problems in his life, and he always manages to know how to solve problems. Patrick is also great, even if I get a little annoyed at his foolishness that causes problems in episodes, but I still love him for his character. Squidward has always been an asshole of a jerk who literally blames his problems out on people. That was what I thought as a kid, but then I realized that his life was depressing and chaotic, and so I understand why he’s like that, so I now support him a bit, but that doesn’t mean that he’s a great character in my book. Don’t even get me started on Mr. Krabs! He’s literally always been the most the worst character ever. I never liked him, but on the inside, I managed to practically side with him when Plankton is always out for him in the show. But now I don’t want to side with him anymore. I actually want Plankton to steal the formula so that way we can finally see what’s in the Krabby Patties that has been a secret for two decades! Plankton finally stole the formula in the movie, but we didn’t see what the formula was. SpongeBob SquarePants has and always will be one of the greatest cartoon shows I’ve ever seen growing up.
