My cat died the day this album was released. I like to think my cat gave me this album before he passed away.
Imagine driving at 2 AM alone, with all the thoughts that have been burdening you for days, and you start asking yourself if it's gonna be better tomorrow or should you just find the nearest tree and crash the car. This song is perfect for that moment.
Think about this shit way too much. One day ima just swerve into the barrier I know it.

Saddest song ever, and that video just completes the whole experience, a song about how it hurts to dwell in the past, how nothing last forever and it's better to just move forward and let it go, mixed with pictures of the band's history, we will not last forever, but we sure had a great time, and that's all that matters

I agree. For a long time I thought good music died in the 90s/early 2000s but it's coming back. It's not as mainstream as I had hoped but it's still nice.

Had the privilege of hearing this one live in Philly earlier this year.
i had put this song on when i first asked her out she was leaving for mexico i thought i was so smooth i knew it was over before it started. but man we were great she treated me so good loved my movies i showed her. cared about the things i like but slowly she turned bitter towards me but i tried to keep us together she turned out to have been lying to me said she never loved me. at that moment i lost hope for my happiness i recently saw her in the halls of our school laughing with her friends her joy lit up the hallway right then thats when i completely lost all hope even the hope i didn't think i even still had. i dont know how much further i have to push myself to be happier than i was when i was with her. oh i just cant take this anymore
p.s. turns out she didn't even go to mexico she stayed here the whole time so i can be in even more agony and torture

think this is miles ahead of Copernicus Crater, this is what Duster IS, never forget!
It's not near as good as Copernicus Crater, but it's still awesome.

I love Duster. Im sorry that I missed yalls show in San Diego. I had a ticket but nobody to go with so I didn't go. It's my one true regret. I hope y'all play in SoCal again in my lifetime. Duster has spoken me when other music has just failed to find words. I bought an OG vinyl copy of Contemporary Movement and cried when I first played it. I love Duster. This song has given me chills several times. Much love for what you do. ❤

Does anybody know wich pedals can I use to recreate this beautiful guitar effect?
Most likely some fuzz/dirt/light distortion, reverb and delay. Seems to be the base for most of their tones. Don't know what pedals in particular, but you can ask them (I think it's mostly Clay) @thisisduster on IG. They post gear pics from time to time. Hope this helps.
