ABOUT THIS CHANNEL
Hi, my name is Yuliia, I am a former Fulbright Fellow from Ukraine. I came to the U.S. in 2015 to pursue Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Western Michigan University. After graduation, I stayed in the U.S. with my husband, who also used to be a Fulbrighter and stayed at Western Michigan University for Ph.D.
Fulbright Student Organisation at Western Michigan University is one of the biggest Fulbright communities on campus in the U.S. And it is a truly incredible and welcoming group of intelligent people from all over the world. I want to share the experience of being a Fulbrighter with you and inspire you to take this challenge yourself!
This channel is for:
- People that want to apply for Fulbright and looking for inspiration and ideas for their applications;
- Current and former Fulbrighters that are looking to expand their network;
- Anyone who wants to broaden their outlook and meet amazing people from all over the world!
Disclaimer: I am NOT an official Fulbright program representative, neither the people that I interview unless other is specified. Please, refer to the Fulbright Program website in your country for the most recent and valid information regarding the program. Requirements vary from country to country a lot.
Thank you yuliia ! Thank you for the great work you are doing here for all of us ❤️.
I would like to get your help for my Fulbright interview. I have Fulbright interview in coming September. I'm from Afghanistan. I also have a Facebook group in which we help students in their applications for Fulbright.
I will really appreciate your help.
I’m sorry for a late reply! How did it go?

I'm selected as alternate. What do you think of it?
@@ezatullahahmadzai5188 congratulations! I was alternate candidate both times and second time they found a way to send me to study to the US! It can be frustrating to wait for the last moment decision but there is still a chance. And if it doesn’t work out this time, in many countries they try to prioritize you next year and sometimes wave some application requirements

Thank you for your encouragement. lets hope for the best.
Hello, My question is How to get the application in the first place? I read the eligibility criteria in my country full bright scholarship and nowhere I found the application form and I send them an email requesting for the online application
Sometimes they hide the link if application cycle this year hasn’t open yet. Have you figured it out?
Hi! Are you still studying in the US? I am a Fulbrighter too. . .
Hi! I’m still in the US but I am not studying anymore

Can i stay in usa after study? :)
Immigrate right after Fulbright - the chances are very slim and require a lot of money. Extend your stay on other type of visas and immigrate after completing 2 year rule - absolutely!
