We just rescued a senior dog yesterday. He was in the shelter for almost a month. He's an 11 year old Plott Hound.( with a chip) Don't know his story, but now his story will be happiness and love. ❤❤❤ You are an inspiration.

8pm. To watch them run and romp is healing to my soul. They run up to you, look up, and it is as if they are saying thank you. You have given them life, love and release from the bad things. I think we all need a romp on the beach with them. ❤

@@triciashull6811 Maeve passed away. I believe her heart gave out during or after a walk. Lee was devastated. He wasn't with her when she suddenly passed away. It was so sad. 😞
That was so much fun to watch. We have ponds so nothing as spectacular as the ocean on a rainy day. They all look like they’re having a good time just being dogs. Thank you for everything you’re doing to give them their best life.

Wow, Lee. I am a very old woman now, and seeing those dogs on a deserted beach reminds me of the very old days when I was young in So Cal when there were very few people on the beach in those days. My dog felt like she was a queen running amongst the waves. And she was. She was my queen. Thank you for bringing back the beautiful, poignant memories for me and for allowing me to feel such pleasure in seeing these dogs free and loving life. And I always love going places in the rain. It is a magical affair that many shy away from.
I know how you feel...I love the rain, and I always seem to get it all to myself because everyone else is hiding indoors.

I've had dogs most of my life, and because of dogs, my life has been great. I can't picture myself without a dog. As I write this, I've got my baby laying under the chair I'm sitting in. He's a 2 yo Shih Tzu named Dexter and he's one of the best. Thumbs up to you!👍

I love seeing them going for walks on that gorgeous property. Running, playing, chasing each other, no leashes, no boundaries, no worries...just wide open space where they are safe and can just be dogs. The dogs that Lee brings back to the Asher House on rescue day really do hit the jackpot!! My heart is so happy for every one of them, especially the ones that were on the euthanasia list...imagine being a day or less away from being put to sleep and then, a miracle happens, and this is now your life!! ❤❤

Be careful near the water, sharks have been coming in very close, just a few inches of water. I’ve seen a lot of news stories showing that lately. Otherwise, love seeing the pups enjoying the beach with daddy. So cute how they politely share the ball.
There are rarely sharks seen on the Oregon Coast, so no need to worry.
