Awesone game of my generation , maybe is a little hard and long for a kid but you can pass a good moment with this , nice BGM and a lot of enemies and bosses , good gameplay.
I wonder, how did this happen, that developers have decided for the Yeti to be the final boss of the game. I mean, the fourth boss (Ograoum Papas, afair) is far more intimidating.
Ah yes, the megadrive version of mr nutz. The only reason why I kinda like this one is due to the inclusion of a password system. From what I can tell, there was no such thing on the snes version, which is really necessary for long games like these
The snes music is so much better than the mega drive version. . The mega drive version looks very good though, considering the mega couldn’t do as many onscreen colors as the snes.
@Dean Satan You're just a fanboy writing nonsense. In Snes' version, the music is better and each boss has its own theme. The Genesis version, music and sound effects sound very shrill, making it irritating. The "Witch" and "Little Clow" bosses have lost the rotation and scaling effect present in the Nintendo console version. The Super Nes version is superior, to deny that is to be a fanboy.
@Dean Satan You are lying. I have both versions and I say The Snes version doesn't have bad physics. On the contrary, gameplay is more precise and fluid compared to Genesis. Anyone can play it either on the original console or emulator and confirm what I'm saying. You are such a fanboy, that you despise the graphic effect just because it doesn't favor your favorite console. Well, if graphic effect doesn't matter, why do you genesis fanboys keep praising Contra Hard Corps, Gunstar Heroes, Adventure of Batman and Robin for your tricks simulating scaling and rotation? Yes, my dear, effects make a difference, they give more versatility to gameplay. And it's a YES point in favor of the Snes version. The songs are also better on Snes. I repeat, in Genesis it sounds annoying, super shrill. It doesn't matter if it sounds less stuffy, it's still irritating. Genesis can make better soundtracks. And Snes has more audio channels than Genesis and can reach 41hz. Who is the fanboy here?

Still wondering how did they put so much different things (enemies with behavior, mutable backgrounds, large levels, complex multiphase bosses, music and... controllable bugs??? (1:03:00) ) into the single 16 bit cartridge. It looks like something from PC that is still actual in its 30th anniversary!

I always preferred the Mega Drive version. That version was only released in Europe in cartridge form. North America only got the Mega Drive (Genesis)version via Sega Channel.
The Megadrive version have password systems and a great music version, but have a low resolution and it's so slow because only PAL versión is avaliable, this wasn't released in North America. I have a hack to resolve the regional differences, the widescreen and the resolution with password, BUT, unfortunately, the ROM have a bad detection of the second boss, and the game no have the dialogues and no have the invincibility powerup like SNES version.
