The book I used for phrases is the "schullerheft zeritifkat b1 neu". I hope I was not too late to help you man

i passed my b1 written and oral Goethe after 1 year of studying. i took A1 course and continued by myself. studied 2-3 hours per week and intensively 3 weeks before the exam. if u prepare yourself to different topics u can pass the exam. i passed with 83%. gud luck!

@@achmadtete5182 Absolutely doable i learnt C2 English without a teacher, and a Level estimated equally to C1 in Japanese(which is a much harder Language ) also without a teacher. The only one who can prevent that you make progress is yourself :) Good luck

Dude, to me he seemed very good for B1 level. If your German is better than his, you are at least B2 level. I'm B1 and his speaking seems almost perfect to me
To all people who have no idea about Switzerland and write stupid comments: Switzerland has several official languages and not everybody speaks German!!!
I was in Switzerland, and I really have no desire whatsoever to visit again. People are mostly poorly educated and shallow, seems like only the rich ones can have some "general knowledge", others are merely shaped to be specific working-tools. And yes, the land has several official languages, though, seems like majority speaks barely one.
And they also have the worst German accents. Like seriously why does it have to sound so shit in my B1 Hören practices? Their accents are hard as hell to understand.
Italians have a very strong accent when they speak any foreign language. My family is Italian so is my wife. every time they speak english or any language it's easy to recognize their origin.
I’ve been dabbling in German for 3 weeks, considering giving it up. But I understood pretty much everything. A million miles away from being able to produce it-let alone produce it accurately-but that’s a massive confidence boost and I’m so glad I watched this as I’m definitely not going to give up.
you should watch EasyGerman, its a youtube canal that puts subtitles in german and in english and slowly you start to comprehend more and more, they even have playlists depending on your level. Dont give up!

To those who believe that all people in Switzerland have German as their mother tongue, I highly recommend the video by Langfocus about languages in Switzerland ("Sprachen der Schweiz - Ein mehrsprachiges Paradies?"). The video is probably the best information about languages in Switzerland you can find on CZcams.
As I listen to this with barely any comprehension (though small, I have learned over a thousand words from Duolingo), I can feel the left hemisphere of my brain trying to code what they're saying. Hopefully that lesson I received from TED is really going tow work.
To people saying it’s impossible to learn b1 in 3 months, just remember she’s from Finland which has the hardest language within Europe, German has 4 cases, finish has 13 I believe. To her German likely wasn’t very difficult. For Asian and far easterners, middle easterners and native English speakers is German extremely difficult and likely not possible to obtain her standard within 3 months.

Late to the party I know, her progress is fantastic for 3 months, it must be said. However her pronunciation is very strange and she makes a lot of errors with cases and plural. Things she will definitely improve and iron out, but having lived in Germany for nearly a year, her progess is plausible and extremely impressive :)
People don't get it, living in a country everyday is different from learning from home. She learns German by just living there for at least 5-6 hours a day!! If you are learning at home you probably learn at most like 1 hour a day. So, you would need 1+ year to reach what she did in 3 months.

@@viviana1397 Oh, you might be right. I agree though, whoever says that he/she reached the B1 in 3 months without any previous knowledge is a big liar! Normally if someone had told me this before I'd have believed that person because I didn't know how annoying this language can be. I won't lie to you, I also thought that I could learn it in 3 months, since I'm good at learning foreign languages and I've done it before in an even shorter time so besides learning it at school(I live in Germany right now and I took DaZ lessons) I also learned it another 7 hours at home. The only breaks I took were when I ate, went to the toilet or slept and all of that just to pass it quicklier. Of course, it isn't like there was no difference because there was: I was learning A1 at school and I used the 2 hours/week that we had with the A2 class to write down what they were learning and search it on internet after I got back home so instead of going in A2 after finishing with A1 I went directly in B1 because the teachers said that I had enough knowledge to skip that one level. Anyway, it took me those 3 months to finish with A2, NOT B1! And the B1 level also happens to require more time than the previous two levels(around 3 months ALONE)and everyone who had ever studied this language knows this fact. That being said, it is technically impossible for that woman to reach the B1 level in such a difficult language like German in only 3 months! Even Albert Einstein himself said something about this. I can't remember his exact words so I'll use mine: "A person needs an average of 30 years to learn PERFECTLY German so hear's my question: Why waisting your time like that?!" Then again, he didn't really say it this way but it had the exact same meaning. P.S.: Sorry if I made some mistakes, I ain't a native English speaker :)

Du hast recht,für b1 drei Monate ist sehr wenig Zeit.Mann muss minimum 7 Monaten jeden Tag eine Deutsche Schule besuchen,nach dem Schule Mann kann eine Prüfung machen.Das ist meine Meinung.

The video is probably the best information about languages in Switzerland you can find on CZcams.
As I listen to this with barely any comprehension (though small, I have learned over a thousand words from Duolingo), I can feel the left hemisphere of my brain trying to code what they're saying. Hopefully that lesson I received from TED is really going tow work.

To people saying it’s impossible to learn b1 in 3 months, just remember she’s from Finland which has the hardest language within Europe, German has 4 cases, finish has 13 I believe. To her German likely wasn’t very difficult.
For Asian and far easterners, middle easterners and native English speakers is German extremely difficult and likely not possible to obtain her standard within 3 months.

I beg to differ, Czech is also one of the hardest languages in the world and I'm still struggling with German. So the woman is just that good.

Late to the party I know, her progress is fantastic for 3 months, it must be said. However her pronunciation is very strange and she makes a lot of errors with cases and plural. Things she will definitely improve and iron out, but having lived in Germany for nearly a year, her progess is plausible and extremely impressive :)
People don't get it, living in a country everyday is different from learning from home. She learns German by just living there for at least 5-6 hours a day!! If you are learning at home you probably learn at most like 1 hour a day. So, you would need 1+ year to reach what she did in 3 months.

@@viviana1397 Oh, you might be right. I agree though, whoever says that he/she reached the B1 in 3 months without any previous knowledge is a big liar! Normally if someone had told me this before I'd have believed that person because I didn't know how annoying this language can be. I won't lie to you, I also thought that I could learn it in 3 months, since I'm good at learning foreign languages and I've done it before in an even shorter time so besides learning it at school(I live in Germany right now and I took DaZ lessons) I also learned it another 7 hours at home. The only breaks I took were when I ate, went to the toilet or slept and all of that just to pass it quicklier. Of course, it isn't like there was no difference because there was: I was learning A1 at school and I used the 2 hours/week that we had with the A2 class to write down what they were learning and search it on internet after I got back home so instead of going in A2 after finishing with A1 I went directly in B1 because the teachers said that I had enough knowledge to skip that one level. Anyway, it took me those 3 months to finish with A2, NOT B1! And the B1 level also happens to require more time than the previous two levels(around 3 months ALONE)and everyone who had ever studied this language knows this fact. That being said, it is technically impossible for that woman to reach the B1 level in such a difficult language like German in only 3 months!
Even Albert Einstein himself said something about this. I can't remember his exact words so I'll use mine:
"A person needs an average of 30 years to learn PERFECTLY German so hear's my question: Why waisting your time like that?!"
Then again, he didn't really say it this way but it had the exact same meaning.

Ich denke, der Grund liegt darin, dass in der Schweiz nur etwa 65 Prozent Deutsch sprechen, während der Rest Französisch oder Italienisch spricht.

I feel it is not entirely fair to be paired with someone who may or may not speak good B1 German but also has an accent that makes understanding words even harder.

Nicht schlecht! Stellen Sie sich vor, dass ich das ZD Deutsch B1 vor 11 Jahren bekommen hatte. Seit 11 Jahren hatte ich fast keine Chance, um Deutsch zu sprechen oder auf Deutsch zu schreiben, aber das heißt nicht, dass ich die Sprache voll vergessen habe!
