In this video we will demonstrate how to change the humidity sensor on Whirlpool Dehumidifier WDH70EAPW.
Thank you for showing me how to open and close dehumidifier. I don't have an error code. I just wanted to clean it, but it's pretty clean--unlike fans. I stopped using it a year ago as I didn't think I was getting enough water out of it. I'm ready to try it again. Thanks again.
I just replaced the humidity sensor according to your instructions and it worked great . . . . for about a week. I'm getting the same error again. Your instructions were so precise and made it so easy but I can't figure out why I'm getting the same code again. When I took it apart, I noticed there was rust on the screw holding the sensor in. Does this mean something else is wrong? Should I bother ordering another sensor and replace it again or just give up and purchase a new dehumidifier? thanks.
Watched your video bought your part dried my basement. Thank you very much!
Is there a way to keep the sensor dry? It's the second time I'm going to change it. It has rust on it. Seems to be getting water on it.
thanks for making this video. i just ordered replacement part today so hoping that will solve problem with dehumidifier!

It seems planned obsolescence is the name of the game in appliances these days. I have a "discontinued"
