Maybe. Today's younger generations are not watching Classics like "It's a Wonderful Life" like Gen-x and all the previous ones did. So it's hard to say if this film will be forgotten or not watched as much from future generations.

Idk what’s more impressive. That he uprooted a try that big in the middle of nowhere, that he moved a tree that big back to his car, was able to lift it on the car, or the fact that station wagon isn’t blowing its tires and transmissions from the weight of everything it’s loaded with lol

I don't know. There's a very nice sense of charm every time I watch these John Hughes movies. No one could make a realistic/surreal movie like Hughes.

We actually cut down our first Christmas tree this year, and definitely had a few moments like this clip... :P Thankfully no squirrels made it home with us!
I watch this movie each year in December...probably over 30 years 😊

I never saw this movie until 2010. My friend from reviewed it in 2010. Then I rented it from Netflix. It is my favorite Christmas movie of all time. It is a instant classic I bought it in 2010 after watching on DVD I bought at Walmart. A few days after watching it. While out buying some last minute Christmas presents in 2010.
I recall when i was a young teen taking my siblings in the woods to cut down our tree it was huge we drugged it back home and were so proud until our uncle said it needed timing and when he was done it looked worse than Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. back then we didn't have the money for a tree so we made popcorn and paper garland bought coloring books and crayons wrapped in gift paper and had a beautiful dinner we were so happy.

this is a true story we were going along a country hillside and i spotted a bush lemon tree it was massive with lemons everywhere and as it was sprinkling rain on an off and no bull the sun decided to come out and when it did it seemed like God shone the sunlight only on this lemon tree hahaha and every time i see clarke when he spots the tree thats what happened to me lol 😁

People forgot to have a fun old family Christmas ever to the actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten still going strong after these years later God bless you guys thanks you guys rock way to go stay safe and warm out there one of the best and favorite movies ever at Christmas time love and appreciate you guys thanks !! I love how all Christmas Vacation merch is depicted with the Griswold Family Truckster (the modified 1979 Ford LTD Country Squire Wagon) with the pulled tree, instead of the 1989 Ford Taurus. Haha.
we used to do this every year. now we just store our predecorated one and bring it out.

when you go into the woods with your frozen family to finds that one perfect chrismas tree and by ehavenly delights you find it but forget to bring a saw lolol!!! I give you the Girzzworld family Christmas tree cuts the rope and proceed to become neveloped in said tree lot of ap in here Lololol!1 Thiss cene was actually in the earliest railers in Christmas vacation before it came out and set the tone for the whole freaking movie!!! audrey isn't it beautiful?? Clark she see it later her eyes are frozen too much!! Anmazing how they were able to rip the tree out byn the roots and get it back tot heir station wagon!!
