Putting the work in, respect.
Man I’ve learned so much from your videos and patches. It’s helped my personal tone journey tremendously! Thank you for keeping these videos coming and helping the average crappy guitar player like myself to be able to continue growing & learning.
Thank you sir, i love this kind of sound 🤘
thank you for these videos man! i watch all the metal related ones and anything related to the eq as well and its helped alot.
Definitely sounded better after tweaking those highs !
Sounded like modern thrash metal settings tbh. I like it. If u can attempt to make a similar tone to the band destruction from the album day of reckoning, it be appreciated
I am getting close to accepting the idea that the Seymour Duncan pickups in my Dean suck. Whether I use the katana or the gt-1000, it just doesn't sound great at all for metal and hard rock. For ambient and lo-fi music, it sounds amazing.
If I do all this with my strat with the David gilmour emg pickups, I get awesome tones.
It might just be easier to listen to folks on CZcams and cry myself to sleep 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video as always!
What Seymour Duncans do you have in your Dean? I have an SH-4 JB in that Tele and the Ibanez has Dimarzio Evo's.
@@GuitarnivoreI believe they are the Seymour Duncan TB5 and APH-1. Since it is a lawsuit guitar, it's getting harder to find official or accurate specs.
@@jasonwojcik Interesting. Pull them out and check the back of them next time you do a cleaning/string change or whatever. I've had a few different SD models and the only ones I really didn't like were the SH-6 Distortions. They're a very muddy inarticulate sounding ceramic magnet, so I'm interested in what yours are.
Hey Scott, would this Katana mk2 100 be ok to use at home using the smaller watt setting for a beginner ? (It’s similar price to the Spark 40 which i was considering) Thanks man
They would both be great for a beginner and yes, the 100 can be turned down low enough with the volume and power settings to use in a bedroom. Plus, it sounds great with headphones as well. The Spark 40 is fun, but the Katan will leave them room to grow.
Need that meshuggah tone video
Can you try q bogner ubershall tone? I love your patches 🎉
@@Guitarnivore that would be great , i have been looking for it but nothing found, and do not have the knowledge of making it my self , if you find the way it would be great! Thank you :)
Please do a Linkin park tone video 🙏🏼
Thanks for sharing the results all your hard work Scott! I've owned my Katana MK50II for almost two years now and still it surprises me on a daily basis at just how versatile it truly is.
