    You're super close man. Heelflips are more taxing than kickflips for sure, especially for us elders . Upload a clip when you get it

    you're putting too much weight on the back leg when crouching, that's why you'll never land it consistently. distribute your body weight, land clean.
    to make this easier, move your front heel further back a few inches. after watching in slow motion, another reason you're not always getting the rotation is, because you're trying to start the flick while the tail is still on the ground. your board needs to be completely airborne and the back foot needs to be out of the way as well.
    lastly, kick your heel up, not down.

      Thanks man, I’ll try tonight to keep my weight more evenly distributed and I’ll try to get my knee up and flick out more. It’s a little more difficult with these rusty hips haha. I appreciate the feedback! 🙏

    I was actually going through that heelflip learning process not that long ago. From my experience of long ass days outside trying over and over I'd say try a couple different foot placements and see what feels the best. Once you get that, kick the fuck out that front foot and try to pull your back leg up as if you were going to try and knee your shoulder lol
