Animal welfare group documents escapes, attacks of exotic animals kept as pets, in zoos

World Animal Protection Canada has published a new online database to draw attention to the dangers of keeping exotic animals in captivity. Wildlife campaign manager Michèle Hamers says many people think incidents are isolated or funny but they can be dangerous. (June 8, 2024)
