I'd rather eat boiled baby octopi. It tasted bland when I first had it
As a child, I ate blow fish. An old woman showed my Dad how to remove the poison sac from the fish. Sadly when my father died the secret died with him. I'm 64 years old. A few times I remember eating the blow fish and experiencing a slight tingle sensation in my mouth, it was similar to eating the Candy - pop rocks.
Uncooked pork or chicken, poisoned fish, unwashed raw greens, why eat it? Why?
@@marionmarino1616 Why not?
@@whitneykawahara And why stop at food that can kill, when there are so many more comfortable ways?
Even dead octopus suction cups are dangerous. The first (and last) time I tried octopus tentacles at a Chinese place, a few suction cups stuck to the back of my throat and I nearly choked
Musta been some restaurant! Most chefs slice the tentacles into small pieces, look like potato slices.
@@marionmarino1616 it was from a tiny one
@@RayvenLunaNite o wow, yes I’ve seen those. McDonalds probably safer!
I'm glad you're okay!! 😊
@@leesashriber5097 thank you ❤️
Back in 2004, I visited my ancestral homeland, South Korea, with my family. One night, my father, younger sister and myself traveled to the city of Incheon to visit my father's old army buddy. That restaurant served San-Nakji (the freshly butchered baby octopus legs). My younger sister and myself were shocked such a dish existed. And F*** no, we didn't try it!!!
good. No way in hell
Yucca ( Cassava) is Eat a lot here in my Country ( Dominican Republic) Including to make the Casabe ( Cassava's Bread) must be prepare carefully because is elaborated with the most poisonous Cassava, but if you dry its water is safe to eat.
I love eating seafood, but there's no way in hell I'll try eating San-Nakji, or Fugu. Not even out of curiosity. Nope. I'm good.
Same here lol
I'd feel too terrible about it. A bit messed up
I’d honestly would love to try it
B-b-but so many foods can be fatal if you don't know you're allergic
Fugu-The food, the fish,the Legend!
Lmao
I have a friend who’s Japanese, and he told me when eating octopus, point it head first so it knows which way to crawl. I said no thank you
🤢 I prefer my food to not still be moving while I'm eating it.. There was an episode on "1,000 ways to die" where a person did die from consuming live Octopus as they choked on one... But hey, to each their own I guess 🤷♀️
@@shellyknowsall some people just have weird tastes in food
@@joshuamohlman i always have a belief to it at least one. Squid and Octopus won't do again.
@@joshuamohlman true that
Hilarious that I got a Domino's ad before this started 🤣
#3 - if you're cruel enough to eat something while it's still alive, you deserve whatever happens to you
San-nakji dish isn't alive. It only looks that way because it keeps squirming a while after dying.
@@rlacksgh9673 As the host said, though, it CAN be eaten alive. Also, chopping it up like that, starting with the tentacles, is also a cruel way to kill it.
@@markalexander3659 Cruel is a matter of perspective, and often a very flexible subject.
@@rlacksgh9673 It can be, yes. But causing a living being that is capable of feeling both pain and distress (and octopuses are actually VERY intelligent) severe pain and distress that is 100% unnecessary and avoidable is considered cruel by the vast majority of people. You'd have to be very ignorant or a sociopath to think otherwise,
I'm a seafood lover, but there isn't a fish, or any other food, that's so delicious I'd risk death for.
Honorable mention for barracuda. A delicacy here in the Bahamas, but I’ve even personally known people to get poisoning from it-and it truly ain’t fun. Best case, you get quite sick for weeks.
My Florida high-school mascot. Hello from across the shore.
Really? They’re poisonous? I didn’t know that.
@@10191927 so really, just to be clear, barracudas are not naturally poisonous in the same way that Pufferfish are. Pufferfish have that lil poisonous liver that naturally contains toxins, and once it’s ruptured, everything else is deemed contaminated.
Barracudas, on the other hand, are only toxic based on what they’ve happened to eat. They are carnivorous fish and therefore their toxicity is based on the other fish they consume. In the Caribbean, their easiest catches are low-dwelling fish that feed off coral reefs. These reefs contain the actual toxin in question, and once a predator consumes the infected prey, the toxin actually becomes stronger.
The toxins here are called “ciguatoxin” and “maitotoxin,” and these toxins cause a reaction in humans called “Ciguatera.” What makes this situation worse is that it’s extremely difficult to detect whether or not a Barracuda is infected. Experts on the fish can detect it through smell, touch and taste, but even that is a gamble. And Barracudas aren’t the only fish that can have it (just the main ones).
While Barry (as we call it) is indeed a delicacy in this country, it’s definitely not worth risking.
@@dustynias Yo that mascot is actually pretty badass 🤣 Kinda wish my school did something similar. Especially when "The Hurricanes" hits a taaad different after the strongest hurricane ever actually devastates half the country lmao
Casu Martzu is a particular food also in Sardinia, just a small percentage of the population still eat it, I never tried it neither my family
Pufferfish : "Developed poison so it cannot be eaten by predators."
Humans : "I want to eat some Fugu!!"
Wait, cassava is poisonous? Here in North Eastern India, we just boil it and eat it. Didn’t know it had trace amounts of cyanide in it.
I hate seafood but the only fish I like is salmon. There’s absolutely no way I’m eating a octopus, no thanks…
The toxin in Fugu is also 200 times deadlier than cyanide. even if its prepared properly it still can cause numbness in the mouth.
I thought a hot Carl was position during the mattress Mambo.
Now I know why I hate alfalfa sprouts 😂😅
And a great excuse to pass on them 😂
THAT'S A LOT OF SPICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
WATCH OUT FOR OCTOPUS!
If you can still get bat soup in a Wuhan wet market, that should have been number 1.
That poor octopus
HOOOOLY SHIIIT! Eating raw cassava was so common where I come from.
Poor octopus 😕
in Indonesia we always eat both fried or boiled cassava with chili sauce and sometimes i eat it twice a day... it supposed we Indonesians have the most cyanide tolerant body here😄😄😄
Two other things that could kill you by smell alone are durian fruit and surstromming!😱😱😱
I’ve eaten live octopus and I almost died.
I know shushi is popular, but raw, dead fish should be viewed with suspicion. I won’t touch it with a 10-foot pole.
@@marionmarino1616 nah it’s delicious. When you cook fish it becomes kinda bland and flavorless, sushi is really the only way to get the delicious flavor.
@@syntheticreality549 - but now because of the corona virus, there is a new way consuming sushi - aburi or torched so that it is still safe to eat
People hate raw fish like tuna and salmon
@@syntheticreality549 Yes, I used to eat it. But this is the US not Japan. Fish is expensive, right. Those left over pieces don’t get thrown out, they put them back in the fridge again & again & again. I got 1 bad piece one time & never touched it again.
@@charliejoson9145 sushi and sashimi is extremely popular in America, meaning people, like myself, eat raw salmon and tuna all the time because it tastes good.
In a lot Latin American countries we eat Cassava like any other vegie, we just boil it first, is not as leathal or dangerous as you guys say
1:32 Arthur Read: Green Potato chips are poisonous
In fact, green potatoes are poisonous.
WHATS TATERS, PRECIOUS? WHATS TATERS, EH??? PO-TA-TOES! BOIL EM. MASH EM, STICK EM IN A STEW!
I have had Fugu in Japan, it didn't really have much flavor at all to be honest.
You literally got the wrong thumbnail because we didn't even see her in the video.
Casa Martzu sounds really scary there’s no way I would eat maggots as I have a fear of them😬
Who the hell looked at a deadly ingredient or poisonous animal and then think it can be turned into food?
I’ve eaten octopus, and fugu, fugu was extremely delicious
Enough delicious to die for??😉
Yuka is good as hell, it has a consistency of a potato
I've never tried to eat any fatal foods, and I don't have any food allergies
I would Never in my life eat an octopus. I use to think they were cool but as time went on they scared me for years I mean there has always been something very creepy about them. And just thinking about them makes my skin crawl and it feels like there's an octopus crawling on me.😬😓
Vore artist have entered the chat.
I love yucca fries
I was about to say I've been eating kidney beans for forever, but nevermind, we always cook them all the way, if you can squish them with your finger then there not done to us
What's taters, precious? What's taters, eh?
Cheese with maggots? That's nasty. Why eat something that could give you parasites? Ugh, I don't want to eat live calamari. I thought live octopus would carry diseases.
Really missed a great opportunity with law abiding citizen.

I Ate Alot of Alfalfa Sprouts NOTHING Has Happened to me
I thought green potatoes was just amoxicillin or penicillin
Fugu was 100% expected on the list. I mean, you can't NOT include it on a list of deadly foods. It takes serious trust in the chef and the biggest balls of all, metaphorical or not, to risk that delicacy. I'm too much of a coward to risk that. I'll just watch videos of them eating carrots and call it a day. As odd as it sounds, I respect people who're courageous enough to eat it.
I mean, they even showed the Simpsons clip which is one of the most iconic moments in the series. I have tried Fugu before, not too bad to be honest, although very underwhelming
I love cheese with a passion. Live maggots is taking that love way too far. I'm out.
I would never want to eat San Nakji it looks disgusting especially the fact that your eating it while it's moving

Top 10 Fatal Foods That people still choose to Buy
🤦🏻♂️
@@romainsavioz5466 Your point is? People choose to do what harms them and complain about it after. But continues to do it.
Who would even eat any of this? It's almost all obviously not supposed to be eaten.
I'm posible XD no se
Why isn’t McDonald’s on top of the list?
I have had yucca. I do not like it at all.
I'd like to rebuttal the first one entry please. My family are farmers in Cape Verde and they make tons of tonnes of Cassava every harvest. My dad 87 years old usually checks his cassava harvest by cutting a bit and eating it raw. He has been doing it since he was a child. He is still healthy. With better abs than mine, sadly. Sure i dont doubt that theres elements in there that might be dangerous, but maybe be considerate before shutting down something people make a livelihood from. Always remember. cocoa, cassava, sugarcane comes from 'poor' countries and with this video and rhetoric you're messing up their livelihoods going forward. And if you properly look into it properly everything I have mentioned are all extremely very dangerous.
Why is these foods on the market if they're fatal? SMH!
Hot peppers can’t hurt you
McDonald's
There's a food called Hot Carl😅🤣😂.
San-nakji was fun. My understanding is that most deaths are from seriously inebriated people who don't do it right.
