Christopher, I have been looking for a solution to this problem for a long time! I don't have a wide vocal range, and sing baritone - things like Depeche Mode, New Order and 80s styles - and have always struggled with it, to the point that if I write a melody with lyric ending in a high 'e', I have changed it. This has really helped me, so thank you :)
Clearly explained and demonstrated and you have a great voice!
I can not get enough of these vocal exercises!!! So amazing!! So grateful for a resource like you!!

Tips and turorials for baritones please?
Thanks for the inspirational thought 😅💕
Thnk u so much. It's a life saving tip. ♥️♥️♥️ I always had trouble with E vowel. In my language, there is a lot of use of E vowel. So singing becomes quite tough.
Happy New Year 💐💐💐
Could you do some tutorials on Broadway songs, going through the melody+ dynamics phrase by phrase? That'd be great
Very good ❤
Hi, i have a gig 2 days again, i have a problem to sing middle to high notes consitently. I think i can't sing one full song till end, i feel out of breath. But, i'm not literally out of breath. I just feel lack of stamina, just like running. Feeling tired and can't keep my vocal cord closure. I was tried to stabilize my larynx or raise it a little bit higher to minimize the air that needed. Still doesn't work.
What should i do? i never do body excercise or any kind of sport past 5 years.
PLease help me with the E vowel but with the sound of "get", "bed", "pet" please. I cannot sustain (for example 3 or four compases 4/4) this vowel at the third and fourth octave but when I go higher, up to fifht and even sixth I can. And I think I almost have found why (but I can't resolve it anyway): when I sing A, O or even U and E (when it spound like "see", "feel", Meet" I can use my
palate and throat as a vault, so, the sound goes easily. But, when I sing a sustained E (Like the sound of get or bed) my throat closes a little to reach the sound, but my sing fails. Please I need your tips to overcome this isue. Thank you
whatever vowel we sing we should drop the jaw.
SAWI it’s just that it’s more difficult on ‘e’ cos the mouth position for speaking and singing is slightly different. Hope the video helped
@@ChristopherDavidMitchell can you make a explanation video about showing front upper teeth while singing? i've got a better tone and better pitch control while doing this.
SAWI you are just shortening the vocal tract length and getting ‘brighter’ sounds from doing so
low got distracted... this eye contact😭🙈
This is the worst vowel for me but thanks for the vid I will try this out
So was that Gsharp technically head voice?
darren lumby the one at the beginning... no head voice is quite light really
