  • The crew at MetalWorks were brought an ultra clean "Grandma car" 1963 Chevy Nova and asked us to upgrade the suspension and convert it from a 6 cylinder to a V8.
The Nova now runs full HEIDTS front and rear suspensions with frame connectors, Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes, and a new GM Performance 330hp small block.
*sorry the video notes state a V6 when it's clearly a straight 6 to V8 conversion*

You make it look easy. Admire your work. I bet the customer was like a kid on Christmas when they got to see the finished product.

What a great car to start with should have painted the car underneath satin black before you put all the suspension in just a little detail and a nice orange engine it would look great

    Good job MetalWorks!
I don't get the owner's thought process though.
1 - He/she wanted to modernized the car: suspension, brakes, frame re-enfored, axle... but stuff an engine + transmission almost as old as the original back in? They could have any modern V8!!
2 - Why are they cheaping out and not paint the new inner fenders and core support? after all the firewall is already painted...
Oh well, it's their money and car. Still, it's looking good!
