  • Moisturize me like one of your DRY Seats! In today's video, Levi explains how to apply Colourlock Elephant Leather Preserver. Designed for DRY Leather seats, this products with nourish the leather back to a supple and healthy feel!
    Leather seat care id often overlooked and Levi is here to help you out! Do you suffer from Dry Leather seats? Are they crispier than a sun-dried leaf? Maybe have more cracks than poorly laid foundation? Elephant Leather Preserver is designed for just that! This product penetrates deeply into the leather to add moisture and rejuvenate the once supple feel. Levi explains how to apply this unique leather preserver and what steps need to happen to lock it in.
    Pro TIP: ELP works best on older (genuine) leather. Coated Synthetic leather typically needs nothing more than a dedicated Conditioner or Sealant. For Modern leather, we recommend the Colourlock Conditioner or Sealant system. ELP can be used on interior car seats, furniture, and even genuine leather hand bags.

    How can someone tell that the sides were vinyl (or synthetic leather for that matter)? I thought the whole seat was leather until you said it wasn't. 😄

      One trick I had found if you know some of the seat is leather is to take a flash photo on your phone. Typically, the vinyl will reflect the light differently and appear slightly different color.

    Levi maybe you could show us someday how Color lock restores faded steering wheel color? Thanks Master of Shine👍

    I bet the water was cold, when the leather was swimming in the pool.

    I recently bought a 2002 bmw and the interior has obviously been taken care of because its pretty perfect for a 22 year old car. Im really trying to keep it that way so any tips go a long way :)

    My 2011 Audi has good leather seats but... a bag of ice was set on the passenger seat for about 10mins. Now its hard and I'm concerned for when winter gets here. Will this product work to resoften it? Tha ks.

    So can this be used on automotive leather? Most if not all car leather is coated

    What are you using to apply the Elephant Leather Protector? Foam, cotton, or a small piece of MF towel?

    Not sure if this is completely unrelated, however, I own a 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee Summit. The leather dash shrunk and pulled back. Do you think this product could have helped? My son’s is still in place, mine is horrible.
    Also, any idea if someone can fix this? In the meantime I’ll tell my son about this product

      Unfortunately, the best fix is prevention. The dash could be replaced, but at what cost compared to the vehicle's value?? It probably won't increase the value significantly with a replaced dash. But, yes, using a good leather care routine will significantly prolong the life of leather - ColourLock makes exceptionally good products.

    If I have a leather motorcycle seat, how do I deal with it when it becomes wet?

  • @dennyburgard8725

    Can it be used on the perforated leather on heated seats?

    • @scottmattern482
      @scottmattern482 Před rokem

      Yes it can. Like with anything, I try to be somewhat careful not to put too much product directly on the little holes, but I have used Elephant on heated seats without issue.

  • @TARANTINOauto
    @TARANTINOauto Před 7 měsíci

    Bad enough you have your hand and body weight directly on the center of the seat but then you put your knee into it. Whenever I see vintage cars with torn bottoms I’ll think of you. BTW I see a lot of “experts” do this.

      Knees on seats is a very good way to delete the seat heating option.
