I've been waiting a long time to see a Modern Metal performance on TV, a mainstream media outlet, this is fantastic, we continue to build this amazing community and make ourselves respected 🙌
You found a new member after I stumbled across this song. Started listening to some of their other stuff then onto other stuff, and the classics etc. I personally am thankful Bring Me went "mainstream", as I likely wouldn't have found such a great genre of music
Fun fact: The jacket and pants he's wearing is from the DiE4u video and the contortionists are from that video as well. Also, there's small influences of DiE4u in the keyboard. I love that you and I are the same in the "Come onnn!!! Come onnn!!! Scream! Just one more! YESSSS!!!!!" 🤣
I can’t put into words how much I loved this! Big fan of Ed Sheeran anyway but BMTH is my all time favourite band and this collab is just… *chef’s kiss*
It’s kinda crazy how well Ed’s voice works with metal sounds. In an alternate universe he’d be a fantastic lead singer for a metalcore band.

He has said his screaming technique during his heavier days was wrong and that he shredded his vocal chords, but lately he's been sounding waaay better live

This actually have the same concept with Fear, and loathing in Last Vegas band the song split into the poppy part or in FALILV case its quite disco-ish (idk if thats a word 😂) and the othe rpart is the metal part with screams. its a japanese band btw

I agree with everything you've said in there! I am sooooo hyped for this future! I've never been a big Ed Sheeran fan, although I can admit that he's got a bomb voice for sure! But PROPS to him that he's into doing collabs with all these heavier artists like BMTH and ONE OK ROCK! And kudos to BMTH for doing all this work with mainstream artists, I have been looooooving it. I desperately need a studio version of it, it's that good! EDIT: I honestly can't stop smiling. Maybe this weird covid-and-no-concerts-time has gotten to me lmao

I've been waiting for you to do this. Only ES song I know is Shape of You, hate it. Watching ES I find him boring and lackluster. I still won't listen to ES but will always listen and follow BMTH. Thanks for review and I completely think the collab was a brilliant piece of musical history.
NGL i saw ES live and it was eye opening. His command of the crowd and truly being a one man show was incredible

Come Ed over to the alt side you know you want to. Leave that dull pop rubbish behind. BBC radio 1 play BMTH which is a mainstream radio station in England which they'd play more bands in this genre
His scream is so weak..it sounds like a petulent teenager throwing a tantrum. Screaming is a lost art it would seem.
