I would be dumb to say our African heritage did not play a part in bringing our music forward, of course it did no doubt but it was not them alone! and we should get the respect for creating our own ting! Dancehall and Reggae music wasn't being made in Africa before us.. thats a fact!
Reggae is made in Africa and when you fast forward or slow reggae rhythm/beat you actually gonna get "dancehall" rhythm which is made in Jamaica...... we're #OnePeople
