Question. If I already have an airbrick vent in a room, It would be rather silly of me to then fit a window with another air vent. Yes ?

Hello Stephen! Thank you for your comment. An airbrick in a room is indeed an air inlet. There is no need to add an air inlet on a window or a wall. However, it is just a hole, whereas our air inlets are usually equipped with airflow limiters to avoid draughts. With a whole-house Mechanical Exhaust Ventilation (MEV), air inlets are only needed in dry rooms, that is living room, dining room and bedrooms.

Air tight house is not health Effective! We need ventilation. I paid an arm an a leg for mechaniczny ventilation plus a humidifier unit add on. I still get sinus problems every winter??

You may have problems with your ventilation system because an efficient ventilation system renews stale air with new air. This allows to have a good indoor air quality according to the needs of the occupants. For more information on our ventilation systems, you can visit our website: www.aereco.com/
