For Shadowheart, it’s actually more than a decade since she’s about 45.

Can we all appreciate they had the foresight that players might reclass all origin characters into barbarians. They actually had variations for everyone, that's crazy!

I just want to say, they made multiple vocal spell incations for every spell tht requires vocal component Tav voice and origin character
Every Origin character has the appropriate voice lines to be literally any class. Including Vicious Mockery lines for Bards!

everyone is talking about the voices but can we all appreciate the sound effect itself? It feels so powerful that it gives me the shivers
I especially like the last moment of the pre-cast sound, like a hyper-fast beating heart... It feels so strong that you can almost touch the force.
This game's sound design is an underappreciated aspect. Fucking eldritch blast? Fireball? Call Lightning? Glorious sonic architecture

Gosh I absolutely love how Barbarian Rage is done in this game, from the ground shattering beneath your feet to the battle cry as your character rouses their temper and fury.
A literal force of nature, my Barbarian Dragonborn is one such beasts.
I like how Raphael comments on my Dragonborn saying it looks like my race and such only to say “It speaks like a beast” 😂 like, no shit, he is.
I like how gale's B version sounds like he's casting a spell of rage on himself
V1 is great, but damn, i did not expect SH to sound SO good. I almost want to restart my barb playthrough as her.

Exactly what I wanted. Voice 1 is my pick. So hype hearing it in game. Barbarian not as fun on tabletop but this rage totally makes it in game
No wonder, Voice 1 does sound the best for male characters, even though I personally like the speaking tone of Voice 7 the most.

Wait I did not realize durge had a unique rage sound. My first playthrough was durge and I went oathbreaker/berserker. Screaming was always SO satisfying. That voice NAILED it

Honour Mode is a blast respecing them into the most unfitting classes.
Paladin Astarion still hasn't broken his oath somehow. I don't play him honourably at all, but somehow the oath still holds lol.

There are clips of them now, and you can tell Minthara's VA does WH40k audio dramas. She sounds like she'll rip your face off for the Emperor!

Vicious Mockery next please! I think there are probably too many to include all of them but at least a few samples would be nice. Im curious to the origin characters using it mostly.
i was about to say "astarion's D is so good" but then i stopped myself before hitting send. anyways i love his fourth scream.
S+ tier: Voice 1. The first one I ever heard when Barb came out in EA, and it's still my absolute favorite of them all.
S tier: Shadowheart, voice 4. These will be my go-to's for any future playthroughs with a female barbarian
A tier: Karlach, Astarion, voice 6, voice 2. Respectable performances overall, at worst I'd say there's only one scream from each that aren't too fantastic.
B tier: Voice 5, Lae'zel. Not great, not terrible, wouldn't be outright opposed to playing these as barbarians, but I'd still prefer some of the higher tier ones.
C tier: Voice 3, voice 7, voice 8, Wyll. Not too fond of these tbh, I can tell they tried but they're either too short, too quiet, or just straight up sound goofy.
D tier: Gale. Just stick to spellcasting, man...
How interesting! My S+ tier is voice 3 by far, that rage sound like an emotional rage I feel like my character is really getting angry and not casting rage, S tier is voice 7 a calm rage something I can see a barbarian chieftain with high wisdom doing, and C tier for voice 1 all of the screams sound the same it's like he's casting rage and not really getting angry.
That proves that larian nailed those screams.
I thought voice 2 sounded a lot better than 4 but people have their opinions
Voice 1 is literally what I think when I imagine barbarian rage, none of the other voices come close

For anyone whose reading this: barbarian/rogue is a VERY viable multiclass, and the Dark Justiciar armour is a medium armour, which barbs can wear. Something to consider if you respec Astarion and Shadowheart as barbarians! : D
(Also, and as a morally righteous Zariel Tiefling, Karlach actually makes for a great Paladin)

Best of Karlach's for sure. Her B and C are underwhelming imo.
V1 has the best overall set but v3 c will always be my favorite when something emotionally happens. The amount of anger panic or fear in it makes those moments better.
