@@Mindartcreativity Gleemer and Narrow Head are the first shoegaze bands that come to mind for me. Beyond that, Greet Death, Ovlov, and Horse Jumper of Love all make shoegaze or at least have a lot of shoegaze-inspired songs.

Kinda ironic and silly, my first pedalboard ever when I was a kid was on an old cutting board I stole from my parents. It consisted of an Ibanez tone lock distortion and a delta lab delay pedal🤘

You need a delay with an fx loop so that the pedals in the loop only affect your delay trails but leave the clean tone alone

yeah this is not the only channel that stole that format, I've seen a number of others that are even more blatant than this one, I can't recall which ones, but one of those channels looks exactly like Knobs

Other than using a loop (which is just a very effective way to show how each pedal changes the sound) and the sort of weird found objects background I don't really think this all that similar.

there were channels doing the same thing before knobs. Knobs didn't create this format

Eh, not really. While the aesthetics are somewhat similar, these videos serve a completely different purpose than Knobs. Knobs tends to put out full-on pedal demos while this is just focused on showing a cool pedal chain.
