I have to agree with MachineGun on this one....The V-Drums has great dynamic range and natural rim shot sensitivity. Any notes will be heard - singles and doubles well into quarter note =200 range. Even Neil Peart uses 6 V-Drums if that tells you anything. There in a league of there own, that's why this kit cost $7,000

They are Roland cymbals which are electric. They are a dull, black color...rubber coated. He also uses Alesis Surge cymbals in his newer vids which look shiny and acoustic but are still electric.

yeah the thing about it is he adds more cymbals, while still keeping almost all of it the same. I think it makes it sound better and who ever said had to be exactly the same. KEEP RIPPING IT UP DUDE!

Pretty damn good for the kit you're playing. Mike himself taught me how to play this, and you really do need double kicks and a remote hi-hat to do it properly.

put the pedal allmost all the way to the ground (all the way if you want to, but I like it a little from the ground so i get enough pressure ut keep the hi-hats hard together), and then thigthen the skrew ting on ten symbal, that's kindof on the "stick thing".

no there really is
he adds little things to the songs
for instance-in duality, he definitely added some more cymbals and was faster, etc.
in this video, he does the same, anf in the beginning, he plays on 4 different toms instead the one tom (i just heard that your only supposed to play on one tom, i dont actually know for sure though)
you just have to listen to him, and then listen to the actual song

yeah its an electric set dude, you got it right. you can easily tell from the cymbals and if you look at the snare and toms then you can see how they are pads and not actual drum heads.
