Wizard101: *BEST* Solo Death Gear and Deck Setup (Lvl 100-129)

- Hey everyone! I thought I would make another update video regarding my Budget Account wizard, Michael Silverflame.
With the critical and block changes, it is extremely easy to solo all of arc 3 with this gear and deck setup, including all of the storyline boss battles.
In this video, I will show you what I use on an account where I still have not spent money on anything besides memberships, as well as an explanation and other alternatives and how to get them.

For anyone who watches this after the fact, only real difference is don’t farm for morganthe gear after the changes. The gear is completely different now. Only thing that is new and is better is the wand from the shadow tree fight. Best wand in the game at level 100, no competition

For those who are now watching this, Morganthe athames and amulets were heavily nerfed so don't bank on getting those.
They changed the stats or they made it a harder drop?

Oh yea I forget they did. I still have the fire amulet pre nerf and it used to be such a competitive pve option at that respective level
I would say for level 100 the best wand is the one Moros drops. It gives incredible stats. 17 damage plus crit, block, and pierce

One small nitpick: Yevgeny fight is NOT a long one (you say it when you talk about the damage reducing jewels): a competent team should do it on second turn, 3rd turn tops if an unexpected Frost Giant hits on the first turn. It goes the exact same way as King Detritus: three different feints and frenzy by the hitter, then three different blades (yes, they get stunned, but it doesn't matter as there is no next turn), kill.
However, if you are soloing (and a huge respect for soloing the Darkmoor Graveyard, by the way), then this fight may become an extremely dragged out one. With your pierce, though, I would try 3x feint (different ones) into a hit (Wraith or Call of Khrulhu), which will kill the boss more often than not, then you can wrap up the minions.
I don't think I've ever said Yevgeny is a long fight in a team (if I did I stand corrected, but I don't agree with some of the things I've said in the past).
If it was said in this video, keep in mind that this setup is geared towards solo players.
@@ferric Yes, I assumed you talked mostly about your solo runs, that's why I added that "However" paragraph.
I love being able to tell you tabbed out to a calculator because the item spun slower due to it being fps based, and tabbing out caps the game at 30 fps lol. Great guide, been following it as i play

I personally hate how few good pieces of gear there are. There is no uniqueness anymore.
Well there are unique pieces of gear. This video is simply what I feel is the best. Obviously there is only going to be one absolutely best piece of gear but that doesn't mean it's the only good one and certainly not the only usable one.
When I was soloing as a death wizard, enchanted armament also served me pretty well, enchanted armament is not a bad pet to use as a solo death wizard. Underrated option imo but great video!
I used to use an enchanted armament early on as well. Later on for deck building purposes I just prefer the ghulture.
@@ferric It makes sense, the feint and blade you get from it is super disgusting, but before I started my solo playthrough on my death I actually watched a lot of your streams/budget walkthrough for knowledge and it helped me out for soloing the entire game after lvl 60. I like the armament for bosses that remove feints but that's just me. I love the content u make bro good stuff!
for the wand, there is a wand with more damage and stats in the sinbad pack after level90
Yeah this is the budget walkthrough. I don't buy packs.
Isnt darkmoor boots better than dworgyns? 4 dmg and 3 pierce for 2 res
on my characters i always had this ONE wand called the snowdrifters staff that was for level 80+
it gives 10% damage, 4 pierce, and 48 critical i think. its SUPER good for level 80+ but it was a pack wand
Yeah, as I explain in the video, there is no way to upgrade a wand between level 30-115 that is worth doing because it is either from a pack or you have to spend a ton of time farming rasputin to hopefully get one.

What secondary schools do I need to go into for this build?
Yo the stitch hat and boots can be bought from that stitch lady in wizard city. You don’t need to farm for them.
The ones that the lady sells are not the same ones. They don't have the death school pattern on them like the ones I have.
would this video change with new updates like spellments or new spells?
I do have the full lvl 100 death teacher set. Is it still worth farming darkmoore
One nitpick on the deck. Add 1 frenzy. 40% damage it does not carry the risk getting destroyed with a leviathan or earthquake
i stg it took me MOONS to get the death krok hat, i had to farm for duels and find teams. now i see some max death pvp strats that use the darkmoor hat. ;--;
Unlucky. Darkmoor hat isn't too bad to get though. Might take a couple hours max. Better than dragoon farming for sure.
Hey Ferric. How rare is it for Mallidtaire the undying to drop that gear that you showed in the video? I’ve done darkmoor third dungeon many times now and have had no luck getting any of that gear, just the crappy ones that I keep getting.
I did the full run 11 times I think before I got the boots and I got the hat robe and wand in all that time.

I feel like the gold key boss from Empyrea drops a better robe than rattle bones
That robe is level 125+ and it is a miniscule upgrade, plus gold keys are harder to come by than rattlebones duels.
That being said, remember, this setup is supposed to be completely available as soon as you hit level 100. Since I am soloing the entire series as well as darkmoor, I need an option at level 100 to solo Darkmoor to get the rest of the gear rather than wait until level 125
@@ferric ohhh I understand, I completely get it now, getting the robe from Corp is very difficult to be honest. I got it in only a few runs I was lucky. My main problem is getting the athame from yevgeny and morganthe.
@@snailnuts670 I would just farm Morganthe honestly because if you don't get your school's athame, you at least have a chance to get the amulet or another school's athame/amulet.

Back again, copied most of the build I have full darkmoor gear instead though and I have 111 damage I’m gonna guess the difference again is the pet? Got the alpha omega instead. Didn’t get the deck yet.
what’s the difference between master duel and exalted duel?
Master duels are meant for level 45 wizards while exalted duels are meant for level 100 wizard
Or amulet in Tartarus.
Pretty sure the reason you couldn't find ur Hangman Boots is cuz you stitched over them ;P
How are your blades in your deck start of more than +35% ?
This is before the update where they standardized utility. Death, ice and life had 40% blades, myth and fire had 35%, storm 30% and balance 25%

I am still deciding on what stats are nice for this level range and what is available at level 130 to use to the end of the game. I already know a lot of people are going to disagree with my setup, and there would be 2 of them.
