The guy could had known about cultists in that spot and seen some shit that he hasn’t recorded and thought maybe if i take them there i will get some good footage of there deaths. Although it is a reach but to me kind of fits to the story better.

The thing is movies we watch do the same thing. All those symbols, watching the gorey fake murders, mock rituals and chanting are in almost all demonic horror movies. The image that sticks with me from the entire V/H/S series is that blimp flying overhead with the upside-down neon cross. For whatever reason, I find that to be the most terrifying thing in all the films. It’s just so…random. I’d really love to explore what’s going on in that universe.

I remember thinking Bonestorm was really dissonant with the rest of the stories, far more frenetic and actiony, but liking it nonetheless. I liked the bridge story in the first two ones but not as much here.

True--we haven't had another series, but a lot of single film anthologies have been getting made. I think they just haven't been well received enough to warrant a follow up. Maybe with Trick r Treat finally coming to theatres, there will be interest in a second installment?

Honestly this movie was a bit harder to watch just because some of the shorts weren't as fun or crazy like the others but it is pretty enjoyable to a point. I would say you just gotta watch it as if you don't know what's the plot going to be

Ok, so I know I've seen this one, because of the car chase. But I honestly completely forgot all of these segments 🤷🏾 I still remember all of the previous entries segments, so this one must not have struck a cord for me.
