The HoverAir X1 is great if you don't to seen holding a controller as your being tracked. This is really is a good drone for people who just need a few simple tracking shots of themselves for a video. The drone for people who don't like drones. Great video, and thanks for sharing Shawn.

If they step up the game with the camera I’d definitely be in. As it is now it’s pretty cool, but VERY expensive given that the camera quality is so limited.
If it’s priced right I can see it as a great add-on for those quick short clips

I love both, for exactly the reasons you said. I used the hover for part of a hiking video, and it was perfect: just like a camera man following from different perspectives. And so easy.

Just womder8mg what are your thoughts on the possible DJI ban in the US. And if you think it will trickle to Canada.
I had the x1 which I found great to use when I didn’t want to take my m4p but I returned it was it was just slow and the tracking was poor when I was on my mountain bike. Hopefully the x2 will be better
I spent £1000 on a DJI drone when I should have waited and got the hover for what I need
