As one of the few logical black males in my family it was frustratng watching my cousins and other male family members make illogical decisions while we were young then watch them complain about the aftermath they are left to live when they are older. I hate to be right a lot cuz that means the ppl around me are wrong a lot.

that's right, i mean at this late date in History what should be painfully clear is that a "psychology of seriousness" is damn sure NOT something the kids are going to develop here on CZcams, on Tik Tok, on the "Gram", or on World-Star.... wait, are the kids even still on World-Star...? or have their short attention spans already caused them to move on to YET ANOTHER "distraction" so as to keep them from having to CONFRONT the bitter/harsh reality of our condition...?
anyway: what our "collective lack of seriousness" (both young and old) reflects is our desire to take a "daily dose" of COPIUM or stated another way, what our "collective lack of seriousness" points to psychologically is how we've inadvertently chosen to COPE (to paraphrase the famed words of Amos Wilson) with our being "under the DOMINATION and CONTROL of another people", uh oh...
basically, what we're doing as a group is "running around" PRETENDING things aren't as bad for us as they actually are, of course what this dysfunctional behavioral pattern has done over the last 150+ years (post Emancipation) is that it's only COMPOUNDED our problems and made them worse for us as Black parents, and even worse still for our beautiful Black babies...
yeah, what most of us still don't realize is the recent act of finally making Juneteenth a Federal Holiday back in the year 2021 (in the middle of a Global Pandemic no less) was nothing more than making sure we as a people stay UNSERIOUS AF, as 'Murica simply has no use for "serious" Black folk.

Unfortunstely, it is culturally common and traditionally acceptable in the westernized power systems as dubiously convenient to blame the youth.
Historically the youth are easy targets, with the least ability to defend themselves.
Humans learn by examples and the transmital of experiences by older individuals to the younger ones.
Have older individuals been setting the best examples in their behaviors and in communicating their reasonings, examinations and analysis related to various past and present events as well as the processes related to events?
The 150+ years (post the alleged Emancipation) is significant, because though the 13th amendment had loopholes intended to derail and manipulate the process, the 14th amendment would have established citizenship for the ex-enslaved demographic as a matter that would be normaly acceptted as the common practice of justice.
This normalized behavior would have also extended the Homestead Act that could have not only equalized the positions of ex-enslaved, but also remedied the inequities of incoming European immigrants who were unscrupulously placed in the positions of jumping through hoops to be accepted as so-called "whites" and positioned to "playing the game" while confusing their minds to conform and comply to the delusional make believe of WSR, as asserted by NFJ; such that they would participate and contribute by thinking as privileged sub-oppressors to some extent, appearing to benefit their masters, while not realizing that accepting the delusion of so-called "whiteness" as sub-oppressors actually diminished them into the most mentally enslaved citizens as unquestioning puppets and unthinking "yes-men" mechanized cyborgs without self-mastery.
If Spirit of "Emancipation" would have been consistent, it would have been generally accepted and could have improved the society from that time into the present.
There would probably have been none of the confusion and mistreatment suffered by anyone especially the ex-slaves, including the combustible baggage of the emotionally destabilizing effects resulting from overt and covert racially motivated oppressive actions associated with mistreatments too numerous and horrible to mention.
Emotional maturity is emotional maturity no matter the chronological age. The same is also true of adult responsibility.
The system lords are basically Bratz that have consistently manufactured a "BRATZ world," focused upon global domination through oppression that divides and rules the Humans collectively and individually in their minds.
It is crazy folks driving folks crazier into complying with absurdities and conforming with atrocities, beneath Human dignity as it undermines self-mastery required to fulfill the Human Imperative.
